Woke up this morning with a plan in my mind, Gonna mill my own lumber, gonna work that grind. Got my chainsaw roaring, and my mill set up right, Turning logs into lumber, by the morning light. Milling my own lumber, it's a labor of love, From the forest to the workshop, it's like hand in glove. Every cut and every plank, tells a story so true, Milling my own lumber, it's what I love to do.

cool song I would like to put it to music and send it to Mark Galicic to play on his channel

I may use some of these ideas on mine. Instead of the rollers on the stops, I just use 2" PVC pipe and slip it over my stops works great when turning logs and very easy to do.

Nice rig ! Epicsaw has the power lift you were talking about wanting. I see some people using the 1 1/2 blades. They swear by them. Use the same .008 inch clearance you mentioned . Really like the mill especially the trailer frame and axle idea. Just let a little air out of the tires. Those blocks behind the blade….. surprised WM doesn’t us them. Thanks. Subscribed

Thanks for the info. I use the 1 1/4'' blade because they are easier to find .Also I bought 220 used blades from a man who doesn't reset his blades after a couple of sharpening's. They all were shining like new and were Woodmiser blades and I bought them all for 100 $ and they are the proper length for my saw!!! Yes I have a commercial sharpener that I bought and repaired. I also have a blade setter so I am set!!! Thanks for your comment FRANK

Ordered my Epicsaw power head this morning. The best, and I mean THE BEST customer service I think I've ever experienced. I've emailed Tony twice now (a month or so part), and he responded both times in less than five minutes. Not promising he'll always be that fast, but he will bend over backwards for you! Oh, he's from the Pacific Northwest I think, and I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada, so I have no affiliation with him.

@@claytonnicholson4639 excellent news! I really like how it goes past the cut and back up automatically. I have bad shoulders, so it will be the first thing I get when I get my mill. How long before he can send it ? Thanks

Truthfully, ai didn’t even ask, we have had almost 7 feet of snow here in the last two weeks…expect to see the mill in August maybe! Lol I think he’s working like a madman to fulfill orders, but he makes them by hand (I believe), so he’ll have his work cut out for him. Especially, once word gets out on these.
