Love what your doing here. This will be a huge time saver for my next build. Only suggestion I have that might save you some time is perhaps a router would expedite your initial Pocket starting place for your blade. Subscribed!

We did in this Video. A half lap and tenon is a scarf joint. Can cut you a bladed scarf joint as well. Thanks for watching! 👍👊

Do you ever cut scarf joints on the mill? Really like the carpenter's pencil lanyard.
@TwoGuysTimberframing3 ай бұрын
Thank love the lanyard. Cut multiple scarfs on the mill. The lap joint and tenon is the easiest strongest joint to start with. It’s in the video. Thanks Buddy

Interesting to see the tools used in combination to produce your joints. Do you use your scale to calculate blade kerf, adjust for it in your head or work to pencil line?
@TwoGuysTimberframing7 ай бұрын
Thank you! I know the kerf cut and use it when cutting. I always will cut bigger and you can slowly work the mill down to get your perfect cut. Always use your tenon gauge to check them before you remove your beam from the sawmill! Thank you and keep Cutting!

Northford timber framers with George. I had the opportunity to take his workshop before he passed and it was the best money I've ever spent. You received a rich american history lesson and the ability to design and erect your own frame. The impact and fire that was started is still going 3 years later. I will always be thankful. If Two guys TF puts one on I'll be all for going.
