I liked that part in the anthology of Tales From the Darkside with the gargoyle and the artist. I know it's not a complete movie but it was what came to mind.

Pickman's Model (loosely based on a H.P. Lovecraft story), one of the episodes of Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities anthology show, kinda falls into this category.

What the movie in-between Feast and Eden Lake behind you? I first thought it was Lake Mungo but its not that. Its been driving me bonkers trying to figure it out 😆.
