That's great advice, thank you. I'm thinking of buying a pair of navy flared track pants with side stripes, Adidas or cheaper brands (Zara is bound to sell similar ones soon) to wear with my Adidas trainers/sneakers and a great blazer to elevate them. I'm 58 and I'd love to try sporty chic in 2025. Thank you for another intelligent and stylish video, Happy New Year to you and all your viewers!

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful comment! 😊 I love your idea of navy flared track pants with a blazer-it’s such a stylish way to rock the sporty chic vibe! What color trainers are you thinking of pairing with them? For a rich and polished look, white trainers with subtle metallic or navy accents would be perfect. For the blazer, beige or camel would add an elegant contrast, while grey could bring a sophisticated and modern touch. Black is always a classic option and would elevate the look for a sharper, more polished feel. Let me know what you decide-I’m sure it’ll look amazing!😻

A sweater dress, or any knit dress, is my favorite thing of all to wear. They are so comfortable, but always feminine and chic. I wear my woolie ones all winter long at home with tall socks, then just add boots and a coat or wool blazer to go out. So easy! In my opinion, with my straight figure, they are more comfy than any trousers, even leggings or sweatpants. The hardest thing is finding ones without synthetic fibers, to which I have skin allergies. The selection is gradually improving, with more all-cotton ones, or cotton/Merino, like Sezane’s. (Viscose/rayon is ok for me, too - these aren’t plastics, so my skin doesn’t react, and they are breathable, which is essential).

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, Kimberly! Sweater dresses are truly a gem-so cozy, feminine, and versatile. I love how you style yours with tall socks, boots, and a wool blazer-such a chic yet practical look! Finding breathable and skin-friendly fabrics can be challenging, but it’s wonderful to hear about options like Sézane’s cotton/merino pieces. Your tips are so valuable-thank you for sharing! 😊

Even though the winters are mild where I live, my winter tops and dresses must have long sleeves. My arms are the first things to get cold. But, my torso can overheat if I put more layers on it, as often suggested. Otherwise, love these ideas🙂
