I find that method works without having to pull on the shackle due to the spring strength pushing the bar against the wheel pack. Can't remember if I posted a video of me decoding one of these, I know I was going to! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

@@sotonlock7894 Give it a go... you'll be surprised! It's a bit like using a notched decoder to pull back on the bar, it's just the strong spring they use that does the work for you 🙂

@@sotonlock7894 FYI You can also use a decoder but the tolerances and very good so it needs to be thin and in just the right position.

@@TequilaDave The strong springs makes sense. After I shot the video, I tried this technique on a 158/50 and got little feedback (weaker springs I guess).
