I actually have 3 stacks of dragon eggs in my survival world. Back when 1.17 first came out there was a trick that let you multiply it using the end portal. You would drop in the egg from a certain head then it would fall into the end portal, but there would be fences under the portal which causes the egg to become an item, but because it is going through a portal the game both give you the item and the block, doubling the egg.

Little known fact about pumpkins, You CAN actually get rid of them on Hardcore while keeping your world. Drop an Anvil on your head from a SMALL hight, Destroys the pumpkin without killing you

I charged in to recover their stuff but I also quickly became overwhelmed.
