I love how far Phil let's the conversation between Garcia's insistence that the Other One is the shape of the next sound and Keith's exploration of the space created go on. All the while, Phil just keeps reminding us where we took off from until finally agreeing with Jerry's fully painted mosaic and allows it all to Explode

Very, very sick other one jam. Some sites refer to the mid portion as jam-space-jam. It is one of the most intense, psychedelic jams I've ever heard. I definitely left my body......

does anyone remember Ken Kesey jumping out of a bucket on the left and another guy on the right> They Land on the stage at midnight heralding 1973 painted on the buckets. They were in diapers which led to the other guy pranking Kesey by ripping off his diaper while the Dead played Round and Round then Kesey rips the other guy's diaper as well. Impossible to forget. Crazy good time.

Why are the best GD jamaramas during the days when Mickey Hart wasn’t on the stage .... Rhetorical This is a grand adventure; like oh so many from late 71 thru 74. I’ll take those glorious 36 months over the entirety of everything else; if given a choice. These jams feel like endless wondrous eternity, and I could spend forever in them.
