I played this game on a cruise ship in Dec. 1979. Unfortunately, playing a pinball machine on a ship is a mistake because it always tilts because of the boat lurching. I also played this at the Pinball Hall Of Fame in Las Vegas, NV in Jan. 2010. You did a great job of breaking down the scoring of this game.

Loved the explanations and the lights, colours and noises. Took me all the way back to the St Andrews University Students' Union and the days of CD shots, smeg scores, gobs, supertilts, tombstones and brainstorms.

Years later I finally played this Kiss pinball game at Alice Cooperstown restaurant (now closed) in Cleveland in 2002.

Some stuff you didn't explain. Opening the gate is what turns on the spinners for the rest of the ball. they stay on even if the gate later closes, but go out when the ball drains. Unlit spinners toggle the top center lane. LIT spinners do NOT. pretty much everything besides the top lane itself toggles the top lane, except for lit spinners, as i said. EACH KISS spelled when kiss special is lit gets a special. it lights either when you light colossal bonus, or when you fill the third card. Filling the third card always causes a reset at end of ball. depending on dip switch, it may reset on drain if the colossal bonus is lit, to keep you for getting kiss specials easily. The open gate light is either always lit when gate is closed, or toggles off/on/off with the same stuff that toggles the spot kiss light. yes this means it's lit 1/3rd of the time. On really easy settings spot kiss is ALWAYS lit at the upper rollover. Also, A B C D can either have memory, or not have memory.

It takes perhaps 5 hours to film and then a couple hours to edit....lots of time that currently I don;t have....BUT, look for the high definition Williams ALGAR I made a year ago when we had that rare game in! I couldn;t resist!
