Sun n Fun 8: She's Jealous of her!

We stopped in Mount Vernon, Illinois (MVN) to eat lunch and it was great! This is the final leg from our Sun n Fun journey back home to Chicago's Aurora Airport (ARR). We departed VFR and picked our IFR up in the air with Center. Jaime and I recap a bit of the trip and I think she show's a bit of jealousy about my relationship with 1BC. :)

I have been watching 310 Pilot videos for months--daily. Its like you are flying the 310. Excellent videos, visual, audios, and the sound of those beautiful twin engines roaring makes my evenings! Makes me miss my flying lessons at (the old) Pal-Waukee Airport back in the early 1970's. Thanks to Keven Thorson and Jamie for producing excellent flying videos. I envy them!

30 years ago I left Polk County ( home of Sun-n-Fun ) to attend SIU-Carbondale. Now i live near and work for a legacy airline at KCVG. It was nice seeing Polk County from the air and all the changes that have taken place. As you were flying over So. Ill heading to Mt. Vernon, i kept trying look and see if I could see SIUC in the distance to your left. No luck. Thanks for the great videos.

Sun N'Fun is a wrap for 2019! I hope you brought home some nice souvenirs . I would rather fly the way you do making stops along the way. It sort of breaks up the monotony of flying straight to the destination. You see some cool places and eat at some nice restaurants. Can't wait to see the new avionics once you have them installed. I am sure they will be ready for Oshkosh.

Really, really nice. And the C310 isn't bad either ! :- ) LOL. I found these online about a week ago and have been watching since then - great videos. If you ever get bored flying stateside, try a summer (or even a few weeks) in europe. The alps are amazing to navigate - but those French/German/Italian ATC's will test even Jamie's legendary cool ...! Keep safe and keep flying you two. Looking forward to many more videos.

It's a good day when 201 Pilot posts a video. Speaking of GPS voices. I once gave an electronics challenged coworker my GPS with all of our locations loaded in it. Before I gave it to him I changed the language to female Russian :) He doesn't speak Russian. To his credit he was able to fix it :o)
