Alaykum Salaam. There are reasonable evidence that the Quran was compiled in the current sequence by the Prophet of Allah himself. What happened during the Uthman's era was vowelization and standardization of the Quran.

@18:08...So if the Prophet pbuhahp wasn't able to write his Will & last Testament then how can We prove or know for sure that Imam Ali-ibn-Abi-Talib a.s. and the 12 successive Imams a.s. were to come after him a.s.?

Because there is enough other evidence already. The Prophet wanted to solidify all that evidence in written form.
