Where has Sayed said that Shrine is adding more and more gold? Also, taking care of the society is not the responsibility of the Shrine, it is the responsibility of the state.

Islam forbids the raising of more than a gravestone longer than the diagonal of a hand and even grave goods equivalent to chalk. Spending on religious buildings actually encourages other charity.

The Imams (as) are gravestones are not lifted above the ground. There is another grave that is above theirs that indicates where the Imam (a) is buried.

The lives and personalities of our Imams are not impressive enough. All the hadiths that exhort us to go to Ziyarah, promising us Jannah as a reward, are not encouraging enough for the Shias. We need golden domes brothers... and that is the only way to attract the Shias to the shrines. Bravo Br Qazvini! I wish Imams had conveyed this idea/concept to us. Instead they only asked to raise their graves by no more than four fingers: عن أبي الحسن موسى بن جعفر (عليه السلام) - في حديث - إنه قال: إذا حملت إلى المقبرة المعروفة بمقابر قريش فألحدوني بها، ولا ترفعوا قبري أكثر من أربع أصابع مفرجات. From Abu Al-Hasan Musa bin Ja'far (peace be upon him) - in a hadith - that he said: When you carry me to the cemetery known as the Quraysh cemetery, place me in a niche there, and do not raise my grave more than four spread fingers. Wasail Al Shia Vol. 3, Section 3, Chapter 31, Hadith 3386

Salaam Alaykum. You are mixing two arguments. And it will be a better understanding if these arguments are discussed separately. 1) Raising the graves or sanctifying the graves: Sayed has covered this in the later part of this episode. As for the hadith of Imam al-Kazim, one has to understand why Imam gave this specific instruction. The instruction of the Imam offers a clear suggestion that there is wisdom behind the fact that the Imam has given this instruction regarding his own grave only instead of a general principle for all his believers. Secondly, if we examine the hadith corpus, it is clear that creating a dome over the grave is also sanctified, considering we have Ziyarah texts to be recited under the dome of Imam Husayn from Imam Sadiq. This idea is also approved by the Quran when we read regarding building a mosque over the graves of 'people of the cave'. 2) Golden Domes: With the first point clarified, you will realize that the golden domes are a part of this sanctification. ​ @Thaqlain Va alaykum salam. Bravo again! Lets derive our fiqh from a small fragment of a Ziyarah where luckily we happened by chance to find the word "dome". Wish our great Shia muhadditheen - Shk Kulayni, Saduq, Tusi, Hurr Amili could have found a single hadith where Imams asked us to decorate their graves and build magnificient structures around it. The more magnificient the structure the more thawaab of Ziyarah - wish they had said it! Keep the gold rolling brothers! God forbid people will stop doing Ziyarah altogether otherwise! Why take the risk? The numerous hadith we have from our Imams exhorting us to do Ziyarah and promising us Jannah just won't cut it - we need massive gold plated domes, exquisite mirror work and lofty minarets to encourage and impress people. By the way an interesting hadith on building anything over any grave: محمد بن علي بن الحسين قال: قال الصادق (عليه السلام): كل ما جعل على القبر من غير تراب القبر فهو ثقل على الميت. Muhammad bin Ali bin Al-Husayn said: Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: Whatever is placed on the grave from other than the soil of the grave is a burden on the deceased. Wasail Al Shia Vol. 3, Section 3, Chapter 36, Hadith 3408

There are either of the two conclusions that we can draw from the comments: 1) Developing shrines is not allowed in Islam: That's not the case. And as Sayed has shared, the Quran endorses this concept, the hadiths endorses this concept. And this also tells that not raising the graves is not the same as building a dome. 2) Decorating holy sites is not allowed in Islam: This too has been covered in detail by Sayed in episode 123. If there is any other conclusion that you are proposing please correct us.

My advice my opinion keep thing simple natural in Mecca 🕋 and the shrine in Karbala . Just imaging if it’s bombed god forbid there can sale it help to build it up again thank you brother it’s a hard question to answer thank you for your advice heaven and realistic is never same to me . Ok yes Sada brother But there is alway someone who is in charge of the karbala shrines or when it was built like before the plan this is what we need to spend etc just like haji why they spend so much money on Mecca 🕋 rug , just keep it simple the rest give to charity that is my advice .
