Absolutely beautiful as always, Louise. I watched Sun Kissed Krissy's latest livestream, and she met my girl Cinderella on my behalf before my 35th birthday, she looked absolutely beautiful and graceful, you'd have to see it for yourself, I couldn't hold back the tears, cuz Cinderella's beauty was unmatched.

I love this, Louise! 💖 The colors are so beautiful together, and the movement of the jiggle lines are wave-like. Recovering from any 'mistakes' in fluid art is quite an art and talent in itself. I always learn the most from watching how others choose to recover from any 'fails', including my own.This turned out absolutely beautiful in the end!!

@@LouiseMcKayArt I personally would pay for a more personal teaching session. I'm new to acrylic pouring. I've watched lots of artists, (who are good) I just don't learn as much from them. I've literally learned more from you in the past few weeks than I have in the past year watching others.

Wonderful Louise. Do you have more videos coming out now? I love the contrast in this painting. Just gorgeous. What do you do with paintings and crafts that you don’t sell? I’m on a mission to recycle some of mine. ❤
@LouiseMcKayArt Жыл бұрын
Thank you, Maria - Louise, I don’t know what you mean… do I have more videos coming out now? Just this one today and maybe one short. I’ve recycled lots and lots of canvases for practice. I’ve sold a few, but that’s why I transitioned to functional art because functional art sells and I have a good market here, canvases sit, at least in my experience. I also use my art as gifts!
@Marie-LouiseArt Жыл бұрын
@@LouiseMcKayArt that’s great to know. I know what you mean about canvases and I am beginning to do the same. Using them for recycling unless it is a commission. What i meant by are you having more coming out now is that I was wondering whether this year your weekly videos will be more regular. I seem to remember you mentioning that you were to be producing more of them? 🤔 Thanks for your thoughts and feedback. Yes I think functional art is better all round. The environment, waste etc. The waste element plays on my mind. Have a lovely evening. ❤️

Hi Judith, 😘and welcome!! Thanks for being here. What you saw in the video was all, fyi I didn’t add anything afterwards… I did want negative space though if I recall on this creation.

More details, why did you torch?
@LouiseMcKayArt8 ай бұрын
I torched to get the air bubbles out, pouring, and mixing paints creates air bubbles within them, if you hit them with a torch or a heat gun, it helps the air bubbles pop up and get out of the painting so your painting dries flat and does not have any unexpected color popping through after the fact

I’m wondering what it was originally that made you not like the way this was turning out-were you expecting some effect that you didn’t get?
@LouiseMcKayArt10 ай бұрын
Oh my goodness, Carrie, I honestly don’t remember what I didn’t like about it. Open I am awfully critical about my creations upfront and then if I take five minutes to wait and look at it I so much more appreciated later.
