Something similar happened to me in Penang. The car just went inside the slot while were parking. We kept our cool and just found a better paeking slot nearer the centre. Sometimes you have to decide which battles to win. I will not bother with such people. Move on. Its a parking slot but if its something i had put time and money in, lady you better get ready to be hit. Because i cant very well see you. That slot is mine with my name written on it. 😂 😊

This is classic proximity vs who came first. If it was obvious who has been waiting longest, then it would be courteous to yield to who came first if it is practical to do so. Cancer recording does not show who came first, however judging by the reaction of the BYD, they must have felt they came first and been waiting longer. If that were true that would make the camcar the discourteous one if they made a play for the lot. Hard to judge from just this clip. A longer, more complete story line may change the narrative.

If cam car wanted to take the lot, there must be clear indication such as signaling to the right and inching forward slowly. Then, if the BYD red car still wants to contest for the lot, cam car should not give in and reverse. But the driver should alight to explain the case that the signal light and intention were clear. And also the cam car was already waiting there for the lot. However, if the cam car did not give clear indication, then it is not entirely the fault of the BYD car to want to take the lot. Since no clear indication and intention were made. If the lady passenger becomes physically aggressive and has touched the driver, the cam car driver can choose to back off but file a police report later against her for using physical aggression and force. If one has the right of the way, it never fails to explain the case in a calm manner. Unless the other party turns physically aggressive, then just back off while trying to record down the entire process on video and make a police report against the other party.
