The fact that China is able to stand on its own two feet and thrive is due mainly to its competent leadership. Very important points. I would add two more: 1. Kissinger and Nixon understood how important it was to separate China from Russia. Now, with their “sanction and threaten everyone” policies, the idiots in Washington push Russia and China together. So you have the biggest natural resources country allied to the biggest manufacturing country. 2. The US used to have a globally dominant industrial sector and a globally dominant financial sector. Now the US is losing the dominant industrial sector to China, and the financial sector is becoming multi-polar with the rise of BRICS trading mechanisms.
@morbid747Ай бұрын
The worst strategic mistake ever made by the US in this century. I wouldn't be surprise if both countries form an alliance called Eurasion Union comprising China , Russia , Belarus , Mongolia and all central asian countries. It would truly be a strong alliance from West to East. If BRICS are then included in the future , the west and it's vassal states would be isolated from most of the global south. Anyway , i doubt most western politicians have the capacity to understand the seriousness of the impending geo politocal situation as thry are more interested in the election and special interests of corporations.

We all have to understand that in the US, they spend $90 billion a year on intelligence and misinformation. This is what they do. Can you imagine $90 billion a year being spent perhaps on education? They spend it on disinformation. And the reason why is not because Americans are evil people. It has to do with the sense that they have to be number one. If they can't compete with you, they're gonna break your legs. This is what they call the Tonya Harding defense. She was afraid that her good friend would somehow beat her at the Olympics, so she got her boyfriend and another friend to go over and try to break her legs. This is exactly what the US is doing. Another example like 2 athletes competing in the Olympic stadium. One side is not trying to acheive their best results, but always trying to trip the other side, even making them participate in the paralympic games. That is the serious deviation of the US's perception and positioning towards China, treating China as the most significant competitor and the most severe geopolitical challenge. The US claims to outcompete China, but not to seek conflict. In reality, the so-called competition of the US is an all-round containment and suppression that is a zero-sum game of life and death. The fact that there is an iron law of dual politics which says that whenever the world's number one emerging power which today is China is about to overtake the world's number one power which today is United States of America. The world's number one power always pushes down the world's number one emerging power. Now American problem is they lost industrial base, and they have nothing to trade except weapons and overprinted money. The problem with the US economy today is that they underestimated China. In the United States of America, if any American politicians say "hey, China is going to become number one let's get ready for it" that politician will be dead and a suicidal to their political career. In the west, they have 1 million watts speaker phone that they can use on a daily basis because they control the international press. $1.5 billion was used by this US government to train journalists how to write negative stories about China over five years which is $300 million a year, just being spent of the free press to teach them how to be biased against China. Imagine if China was doing that, the US will definitely say, see! This is an attack on the freedom of the press of information!

Maybe it’s time for the world to rethink capitalism. Under this system, the poor gets worse off, while the rich become richer. This phenomenon is very common in capitalistic countries like US and Europe. China’s system is a hybrid of capitalism and socialism.
In Extreme Capitalism, employees and poor people are made slave. Look what happens in India. It is a modern slavery system.
@sustainerofdivineprincipealАй бұрын
Capitalism by itself is the best thing that ever happened to modern world. It promotes innovation and advancement in tech . The problem arose when big companies started getting involved in politics to secure unnatural advantages for themselves thereby corrupting the natural processes of capitalism . Big companies buying out smaller competition and lobbying in the parliament is what corrupted capitalism. In this sense Americas system of capitalism got corrupted. In China foreign tech companies are forced to give up tech information if they want to access Chinese market. That's also not natural. It's good for China but not for anyone else. I think other countries must also start copying China where by any Chinese companies wanting to open in their country must share their trade secrets and tech information.

A lot of what China did began years before the collapse of the Soviet Union. In 1979, they started opening up and reforming. They started the special economic zones as experiments, trying to learn how markets work and what kind of problems market may bring. All collective farms were abolished by the mid 1980s. As a result, food production broke records year after year. As controls were loosen, village enterprises grew. There is one issue very seldom reported. That is leadership development. In the early 1980s, they identified the next group of leaders to groom. Deng Xiaoping also pressured many old men to retire to make way for younger leaders. In this area, they did see the damage done when the leaders of the Soviet Union held their positions until death.

Summary 1-China learned from the Soviet Union’s collapse, which was caused by internal weaknesses, not external pressures. 2-To avoid a similar fate, China focuses on maintaining a strong economy and dynamic society to ensure internal strength. 3-The U.S. used a containment strategy by forming alliances with the Soviet Union’s neighbors, but China preemptively counters this by building economic dependencies with its neighbors, such as the ASEAN-China free trade agreement. 4-China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) strengthens its global influence by providing infrastructure and creating economic interdependence, making it hard for countries to join any containment policy. 5-China’s manufacturing dominance-including industries like electric vehicles (EVs)-makes it indispensable to the global economy. 6-Despite its success, China respects U.S. power and recognizes the urgency in Washington to counter its rise, with some U.S. policymakers pushing for rapid action. This summarizes China's strategic moves to prevent being isolated or contained by the U.S., based on the lessons from the Cold War.

He is parcially correct but... Contrary to what the Americans like to say, the Soviet Union did not collapse, at least not in the sense people imagine. Boris Yelsin tried to convince the west to let Russia join them, he wanted Russia to simply be a "normal country" and prosper under capitalism. The West agreed so Boris, seeing how the strain that the arms race was putting them under, decided to dissolve the Soviet Union, with the intention of becoming part of the west so to speak. The US seized the opportunity and declared victory and did everything it could to rape Russia of its resources and to keep it as poor as possible. Then Putin came along and the rest is History, and with Russia standing tall and strong, ahead of Germany and Japan in GDP and growing more than any country in the G7.

Long range plannning and strategy driven by a strong leadership has made China's rebirth from its 'century of humiliation' even more eventful. The Phoenix has risen and will lead in economic terms using its political skills to create a world of peace and prosperity who align with the goals of a peaceful society. The US and EU have wasted much of their advantage on colonialism and imperial wars that have diluted their peaceful endeavers and priorities for their citizens. The trillions of dollars wasted on war instead of domestic gains are appalling.

Right on target, I would add a few more items: The government of China"s first objective and priority is to benefit its population from birth to death, anything else is secondary. Mao's legacy: China can be destroyed but never colonized again, destroying China means planetary nuclear catastrophe now. China is a surviving civilization with many successful rich cultures, we Chinese are master merchants at heart living with a golden rule, do unto others what you wish for yourself, live and let live. China has an ancient meritocratic society and understands in its bones that the one who knows more lives a better life. Country's main goal: to be the wealthiest and most advanced place on the planet by 2049... this will be obvious by 2035, this would be impossible without a strong meritorious government which has the approval of its population.

India only start learning when it's too late. We are late in all fields, but yeah when starts, we can defeat any side or even can fight too. But Chinese have a different mindset. They attack on your sense organs and made u surrender even before the war starts. So that is the difference. We are good in wars, but not good in psychological war and it did played a significant role behind Britishers ruling India for 200 years and even before that, Mughal Empire ruled us for God knows how many decades. We have one more thing in common. We are quite skeptical and judgemental on our own capabilities, means we always keep our abilities in check. But Chinese works on it fast and comes out STRONGER, ours side only plans and plans and till it's too late, no significant action would be taken. See on Semiconductor field. India starts early in this as compared to China. But now where China stands is a mighty elephant and we are ants in front of them as far as Semiconductor field is concerned. And we are good in planning for example see our Nuclear energy project, it is astonishing for the world that after few years, we would have zero dependency on Uranium and despite being no Uranium resources, we have made enriched uranium fast breeder reactor that gives more Uranium in output as compared to INPUT.

India would do well if her people begin with facing reality. Pls watch podcasts on KZbin featuring Mr. Avtar Singh Bhasin, an Indian historian. The historian is the author of a book in which he stated after doing deep researches into sources from India that it was the fault on the part India to arrive at a diplomatic solution with China on the border line that led to the 1962 war and that the Modi govt should educate his people about the truth before relation with China could be improved. It doesn't help to brat about being good in fighting and lost because you were stabbed at the back (sound like Nazi explanation of German defeat in WWI). I don't think India is poor in planning and we Chinese know very well that average Indian are very smart as proved by the no. of CEO of big companies of Indian heritage What is holding India back, I think, is that the western democratic system is not suitable to developing countries which have a large land mass, huge and diverse population and multiple religions but relatively short in natural resources. It simply takes to long for such a system to arrive at a consensus which by then the opportunity might have already gone. India has rightly or wrongly chosen the Western system and has to live with the consequences, both bad and good. Well, I guess one can't have the cake and eat it too.

everyone wants China money , nobody wants to see the China face. even Taiwan passport is better than China passport. China people are not really welcome by other countries. think about it.
