What were the fastest times to finish? What kind of runners vest were used? I noticed a lot of the vest appear to be able to carry regular cycling water bottles, looks like 24oz... Can someone share with me what type of running vests they're using? What types of running shoes?
@mdslegendary5 жыл бұрын
Every year the course is different, so not really a fastest time. For 34th edition, first was in 18:31:24 (12,80 km/h). Fast runners use specific bags with backpack and frontpack, with the possibility to put bottles (1,5l) directly in the frontpack. It's faster than filling a can. For those who prefer cans, they use trail running backpacks like this one : boutique.marathondessables.com/fr/materiel-obligatoire/29-201-sac-de-course-fonctionnel.html#/1-taille-s For shoes, running shoes (not trail running shoes) are good, in the sand it's better not to have big studs. The most important is gaiters to prevent sand entering the shoes.

Hi there, I am getting in touch from The Running Channel as we are putting together a second round up video of great Running Documentaries/films. (Link to our first round up: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJKuco2nfrhsfq8) We really enjoyed this film and would potentially love to feature it in our video. Would it be ok for us to use some footage from this film? We would just use short clips (up to 30 seconds) from the film and would link to the film in the description box. My email is sarah@therunningchannel.com if you need any more information or have any questions. Thank you!

Do you even know how to spell ultramarathon? Yes it is different to a road race, but it is brutal. I'm a regular runner who tried a 10km trail race recently and it destroyed me. These guys are world class athletes. Try a a 10km trail run and report back, you probably wouldn't last 5 minutes..
