I know this comment is old af but yes! Today I found out this song and I was like wait... the intro is so Be Quiet and Drive by Deftones. I did a quick Google search and nothing comes up about it.

Sunrise to another day Let indifference pass me by I say if everyday is the same Why fall a sleep to wake up screaming (chorus) We are not the same We're not to blame The sun was Never even there Try to understand Try if you can The sun was Never even there No surprise you couldn't save the day Even God's not on my side But I hold on still to the hope you will Be gone when I awake from dreaming (chorus) I waited so long for a new day to come But no sun rises (chorus)

I don't know how long I've been trying to find this song this came pre-loaded on an old Alienware MP3 player I had when I was a kid. Now and then I think about the song and end up trying to find it. I would look up the MP3 player and the preloaded songs that came on it to no avail. Finally I got lucky today and some lyrics popped into my head enough to where I was able to Google it and find this. Notstagia

I was in the same position as you! A friend gave me his old MP3 player about 15 years ago for a few bucks. He didn't want it anymore and so he said he deleted everything on it so I could put my songs on it. When I turned it on, it said there was one song on it and of course it was this one. I fell in love with it. It definitely sings Nostalgia! I wonder how they got selected to be the preloaded song for an MP3 player.

rofl, dude that was...its about the music... :P as long as he isnt chris brown i wont ''hate'' him lol(i mean ..i dislike idiotic jerks) and i doubt they are ripping off deftones cause this song is pretty good + if you mean the sound ..there is a limited amount of sounds and ways to start a song...eventually ppl remake songs to express a different way.(Kanye west,Nirvana,Marilyn manson, Nine Inch Nails...all have re-used song beats/lyrics).Nothing is 1 way;every story has diff point of views.

@legnasin better? they're just as bad and mainstream as what you have stated. True good music lies in the heart of the underground. Every one knows who Slipshit, Metallica, BFMV is, they are generic loads of shit - there are better bands. Insomnium, Amon Amarth, Tyr, Ikuinen Kaamos, Amorphis, Kamelot, Kiuas, Daylight Dies, Swallow The Sun, Omnium Gatherum, Dark Tranquillity, November's Doom to name a few. Then there is the legion of Post-Rock bands with their beautiful atmo-ambient music.
