DAMN DR. BRETT! You are on fire! I have not been following you very long but it seems like you are incorporating more tonal work here than in previous videos that I have seen. What techniques have you been studying? Seems like you are facilitating powerful healing experiences for your patients. The looks on their faces are priceless! You are such an inspiration for what is possible with chiropractic care. Thank you so much for what you do and for sharing it with the world. Keep on expressin' yo self! Much love brother!!!

An extremely painful release of the psoas major. A muscle that attaches to vertebrae T12-L5. A flexor of the hip and trunk as well as a lateral bender of the trunk. The muscle can become tonically contracted and hold a lot of tension from prolonged sitting or poor/slouching posture (both activities put your trunk in flexion). If the muscle is in contracture or is shortened for the reasons mentioned above, manual stimulation or release pretty much feels like putting an ice pick into your stomach 😅

I believe it's not about some overwhelming effect the care is having but rather being in the place of feeling and allowance and following the small hunches your body gives you. The patients could have easily ignored the sensations under normal circumstances or if they chose to do so but following your body's reaction feels good and potentially is beneficial so no harm.

I am from Singapore how does this even work . How would I know what’s wrong with my body and if it needs to get adjusted ? What’s the rates like for this ?
@DrBrettJones6 жыл бұрын
We always start with an initial assessment. From the initial assessment we determine a care plan. Cost varies based on the care you need.

May I ask, what is the process with the clients. I know v they are standing in line, but after they seem to stay in that area in the back, only to come around again. What's the procedure? And why didn't you do that one guy who was on the table but you made him get up?
@DrBrettJones6 жыл бұрын
This was a group of students coming for a training session and we started with getting them all adjusted. Normal process is to have an initial exam to discover current level of physical function and life expression, then we create a unique care plan , then person comes in for adjustments. I adjusted the guy I turned away off camera later

@nathanjames42426 жыл бұрын
It appears as though you have encouraged these patients to actively let their bodies "react" in "natural" ways to the treatment which unfortunately is not really part of the practice of chiropractic care. Not a fan to be honest. Letting the "art" turn into more of a show rather than a caring treatment of patients.
@xJdogg956 жыл бұрын
Define what the "parts" of the practice of chiropractic are then... To me, it's integrating the philosophy, science and art of the practice to find the subluxation (emotional, spiritual or mechanical) and correcting it with an appropriate LOD and a specific adjusting thrust. What is it to you? The patients are obviously enjoying it and responding well, otherwise he wouldn't have any. He seems to have the upmost care and concern for his patients as well, just from what I've watched on his channel so far.
@bradfordsmith19996 жыл бұрын
Exactly, he seems to rely on the theatre behind chiropractic which riddles the profession. Merely produces a placebo effect for many patients. Quite interesting stuff really, but this is not a science nor do I think it is helpful.
