I wish this video involved playing the rhythms more then one cycle. It's more like improvising and playing rolls based on these rhythms. It makes it difficult to actually learn the parts. Maybe that's the intentions? 🤷🏽♂️ been looking for a solid Haitian rhythm resource...

I listen to solo drumming. I do not listen clear rhythms.

Im not soloing as much as you're perceiving it. It might just be because you don't know the base of the rhythms. But other than that, why couldn't there be solos in between?

@@miguelgrosfoguel9002Ok, si no estás acostumbrando con los ritmos haitianos, va ser dificil entenderlos mientras el está tocando el tambor. Porque, cada ritmo tiene una base, no vas a saber de cuál ritmo se trata, si no sabe la base de cada uno. Espero que me entiendes más o menos. 🤝🏻🤝🏻🙏🏿🙏🏿

@@miguelgrosfoguel9002 Estás seguro? No sé mucho de los ritmos Portoriqueños. Me gustaría aprender sobre ellos. Nomás el reggaeton portoriqueño que, en la realidad me encanta muchisímo. Pero, la diversidad que existe en los ritmos haitianos y también sus parecidos, son bastante.
