This reminds me of when I got mine back in 2014 :) It too hadn’t driven since 1996, but was restored in 1990 and hasn’t been driven much afterwards. Seized brakes are very common after being stationary for years, but with a bit of sweat and some WD-40 they should come back to life. And as someone else in the comments said already, please keep it stock! It is getting rarer and rarer and the GT’s that rust away are increasing by the day. Take good care of it :)

That car is in fantastic shape! I hope it gets very well taken care of (please don’t screw it up lol). It’s nice to see that more and more Opels are coming back, and that values are finally increasing. I’m in the process of fixing up a 1974 Opel Manta Rallye. The engine was just bored out to 2.0 liters and *everything* is brand new. I’ll be picking the engine up from the shop in the next week or so. I also have a stock af 98 bright atlantic blue Mustang GT convertible with a 5 speed - thought you might like that after I saw your sn95 :)

This is the first video I've seen of you guys and its honestly hilarious hahaha, I might be picking up a 1973 GT soon and this was solid to see possible issues to look for when starting it up, it has also sat for a while. I would love to see more Opel content too!

Ahhhh too bad it's auto... You will come to love it's uniqueness nonetheless. Oh not orig carb and missing snorkel. I bet ya it's 132k miles, or the carb wouldn't have been switched out.
