D'ya think we will reminisce as much with todays yachts in 70-100yrs time as we have done here? For me, these yachts exude sailing - just sailing, you know, a day out in a fresh breeze, then home to dinner, day boats. I just can't see it myself with today's yachts that promote living aboard as much as sailing. Isn't it fascinating how the modern yacht echoes one part of the older yachts by pretending to have a teak deck. Do you remember the day when they "Laid Down a Keel"? Now it's "Laid down a fibreglass mould".

The fact they all survived world wars the Great Depression neglect and to see them is amazing as to how yachting evolved through all those years and workmanship
