I always give my new transplant seedlings some shade for 1-2 days after transplanted them so they don't get transplant shock or dying due to the extreme heat. Using this method giving them some shade ( avoid direct sunlight for at least 24 hours)I never had any issues with my new transplants.

I just transplanted 25 tomato 🍅 seedlings from trays to biggers pots. They are definitely in the shade avoiding the Florida sun.

Hola - just curious - what happens if/when the wool felt degrades? I'm REALLY enjoying your videos, I'm starting a food forest in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and we face many of the same challenges you do. When I need a break I watch you for a moment, I always get re-inspired and then I can get back to work :)

You are so lovely! I love your long white dress. Your pets are very cute and they seem to be content staying on your property. I live in the US--Wisconsin, and my garden is finally planted with heirloom vegetable seeds. Some of them have started to grow very well, and yet there were some that never germinated so I had to replant them. I will have an abundance of tomatoes if all goes well. Your program is very peaceful to watch. Thank you for taking the time to share your life with us!

Hi Eugenia, I’m new to your channel I’ve come from the house build channel, just wanted to give you a little tip if you need to roll the fabric in a trench again, a builder in the USA keeps the roll together and tapes it tight in the middle then cuts the roll in half (with a power saw) so you can roll it out in 1 continuous piece, it’s saves lots of time and the need to overlap the joins. I hope this helps you or one of your followers. ❤Michelle from 🇦🇺

Your idea is smart, but maybe save yourself the cutting step and just roll the screen material lengthwise all the way down. It may be a bit wider but this will be good to use large stones to hold it in place. You work very hard already, just a small tip. Best of luck on all your future endeavors in this property. God bless.

A reminder that great achievements have come from very hard and at times unglamorous work. I can feel your pain whilst you worked on that trench and setting in the gravel 😅 Starting to see the Food Forest taking shape 🌳 🧡 Do you think it will still be manageable to care for both plots? The garden up at the cabin and this new one? Will you turn one into a more self managed / low input sort of garden?

I love your videos and I´m following you now for quite some time, keep going with your amazing work 💛 But I´m asking myself sometimes and especially in this video, how is your dog dealing with the climate in portugal? I´ve seen him struggling to find some shade... Huskies are as far as I know originally from sibiria or alaska, so they can handle extreme cold very well, but warm temperatures and heat not so much. I would love to hear from your experiences with this...

A lot of dust going in your lungs…over time that’s going to be a problem…need to wear a mask. Also think about getting something you can drag the heavy items to where you want them without putting a strain on your back. Just want you to have a long life without pain enjoying all your success. I really love your fashion by the way it’s a highlight of the videos for me❤
