I reached 50 fablings and then all of them started to starve 😭I thought that the food would be polluted if I put the construction buildings that are bad for the environment close to the farms, so my layout was all over the place 😅 I might start again, I've learnt a few things with your video 🙏

@@asacovers some food production buildings are not ideal to be placed near houses due to desirability , for example pigsty. Vegetable farms are fine ;) plus a bakery is great to be placed near houses. Glad the video helped in any way

I’m 8 hours in on cruel difficulty, first time playthrough. I have plenty of food and stuff but a lot of my people refuse to work, any idea why? Their little bubble is red

@@LostlnLimbo that means they are too far away from the workplace assigned. I would suggest to always be Green or the very least yellow. If they are too far away they will get hungry faster which leads to have to go back home to eat

@Sorrowhgaming Thank you so much, i tried looking it up and everything and couldn't find any info. Also, love the layout of your farms, more than likely going to try that layout, mine were a bit chaotic.

@@LostlnLimbo Glad to help! Thank you. I usually go for around 30 tiles for the farms sometimes less as i want to keep the workers occupied all the time and gather crops as soon as they grow. If you go for 40 tiles sometimes the crops grow and sit there for some time until workers gather them.

@Sorrowhgaming I'll have to try that. Also, why do my fablings keep starving? I have plenty of food, but they keep starving to death.

@@LostlnLimbo that makes me think that there isnt enough food stock up at home or its gets eaten immediately. I would suggeat having 2-3 granaries spread out and also have a homegrown attachment, that way they will have extra food aswell.

Hello.🏡🏞️🏘️ I will comment on food at the time of watching the gameplay video up to autumn of the second year. The location of the crop storage warehouse is important. It should be placed next to the farm. Vegetables can be stored quickly because the transport distance is short. If you place a chicken coop, fruit tree, greenhouse, beehive, two food facilities in the resident's house garden, two food will be brought into the house every day. 🐓🍎🥕🐝 Therefore, it is better to refrain from installing clotheslines, dog houses, toilets in the early stages. This will improve the food situation of the village in the early stages. 🏡🏞️🏘️👍️

Hey there, all comments are valid. I dont think tje granaries were far away. I wanted to put them in between of house and farns placements so it to not be far away from either. As for the food facilities in the houses that is true ofcourse but i havent faced a huge problem with food in the entire 14 hours. Thus i havent played around with the installements in the houses. Still both comments are true and appreciated :)

@@Sorrowhgaming Thank you for your reply. 😊 I was watching your previous Fabledom gameplay videos in several parts, and I was interested in your new Fabledom gameplay video. 🏡🏞️🏘️👀 I'm looking for the most efficient facility placement and settings. I saw many KZbin players struggling with food in the winter at the beginning of the game. I'm sorry if it bothers you. I think more listeners will use your Fabledom videos as a reference for their gameplay. I'm amazing at how long your two gameplay videos are, but it's good that you can watch them all at once. Take care of yourself while playing the game. 🙏 I'm looking forward to your future Fabledom gameplay videos. 🏡🏞️🏘️

@@Yamato-Yamato888 Thanks for all your kind words. No bother at all. Food and coal are always the top priorities in the game. The key is to balance these two with how many people you have. Allow more people into your settlement without taking into consideration those 2 factors might result into starvation causing your fablings to die. One tip i would give to anyone is to NOT place your woodcutters next to each other like i did. I had some trouble with wood at some point as i wanted to keep my woodcutters in one place which turn out not be efficient. So if you spread them around all your woodcutters will go to any of those places to cut wood. As far as the previous videos go, i did a series of multiple 30 mins videos but it seemed some people lost interest waiting for the next episode to be release thus i wanted to put them all together now. I am not quite sure what the next fabledom video might be as i did cruel mode which was challending, but maybe a standard mode to make a gorgeous settlement might be an option. I have adopted this longplay videos into other games aswell , Farthest Frontier might be next
