Tysm for this video! Just a couple comments on the afro genres at 0:51 , as music from my people ❤: - afro trap doesn't really exist as a genre, but afro house does. That said "More than Words" is afro house with trap & afrobeats features, while "eyes roll" is afrobeats with afro house features :) - The other name you've tried to mention I think is Amapiano. Amapiano music is a specific subgenre of the much broader term of afropop (which includes Afrobeats for instance). Amapiano originates from South Africa and is more club-like than usual afrobeats. You recognise it by its rather soft, minimalistic percussions + a large presence of maracas, so yes "Smarter" is Amapiano. Sometimes in songs like Tyla's "Water" you also have this electronic base that accompanies the amapiano beat! - With that distinction, "Tinnitus" is really an afrobeats song but not amapiano. You can tell by the beat distinction with Smarter (Amapiano). Afrobeats originates from Nigeria/Ghana and is now adopted as pop music in many countries in Western and Southern africa :) - "Me myself and i" by Fatou is also an afropop song, with fewer distinction features to be specifically part of afrobeats! :D - People sometimes don't make the distinction and like to call amapiano as afrobeats since both genres are sometimes mixed, but really the most inclusive term for both genres is "afropop" music. But if you were to make fewer distinctions, it's preferable to call amapiano afrobeats than calling non-amapiano afropop amapiano 😊 Hope it helps, wish you have a lovely day!! Also has your channel been remonetised now??
