He does not go to high school for another 2 years . But the exams are finished and waiting for the results . I hope the schools dont practice a anointing of the places . These top schools are hot houses and places of immense privilage . And the pupil needs to genuinely earn a place there . Unlike the pre prep and Prep school competition begins to matter for boys . So those there for status reasons get pressured . Harry did not belong a Eton . It made him feel inferior because in that climate he was !

11! Time is passing SO fast. He is turning into a very handsome young man, which is no surprise really given his genes. He will be able to fly with mum, Charlotte and Louis. Just not with dad. I have always thought that this is a very sensible arrangement by the RF. He will soon be learning to drive (he probably already does on the Sandringham estate just like the late Queen and probably every royal did. Then it will be flying lessons and perhaps a stint in one of the services. He has a wonderful future in front of him and I hope he enjoys every minute of it! 💕🕯

Happy Birthday to Prince George 🥳. there are two things that came to mind during your reading Paula. One was how frightening it is for a child (of any age) to deal with a parent who is so unwell. No matter how they have shielded him and his siblings, he is old enough to understand a little more, the seriousness of his mothers situation. I think a lot of his anxiety is maybe down to him wishing it was finished and everything could get back to normal. Children typically don't handle the concept of time very well, as anyone who's ever driven anywhere with children on board will know only too well -"how much further"? "are we there yet?" "how long is it now?" etc. I'm guessing the length of time the PoW has not been 100% herself, either as a mum or a member of the RF, must feel like an eternity to him. Also in the UK a child Pr Georges age would be moving up to secondary school after the summer break. He will not move to a different school until he's 13, so another couple of years yet. No doubt his current school will move all the children in that position into senior classes and prepare them for what comes next. So maybe he's anxious about the change, but also chomping at the bit to get started on the next phase of his life.
