I doubt many people will agree with me. I'm a life-long pianist and studied the classics. "Moonlight Sonata" will always be beautiful in my ears. Few people know LVB was a 32nd or 33rd degree Mason and a worshiper of non-biblical gods. Christianity has sanctified lyrics for "Ode to Joy," from the 9th Symphony, they call "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee." Actually it is written to a pagan goddess. In my teen years I learned to "get into," get inside a piece of music, whether I was playing or listening. Van Cliburn came to town and played "Moonlight Sonata" when I was 17 and I found myself in something of a trance. From that day, I've understood the power of music. LVB's music will live on as some of the greatest ever; but it does indeed have a dark side to those who have ears to hear. No telling what he'd have done with today's technology.

Alright it has got to be said. I have followed you for over five years on here, watched you conquer some amazing pieces of music, do things with the instrument most never touch much less master. Ive been playing for 20 years, and I cant even compare to half of what you can do. But Eric... you just blew my mind for the first time, truly blew my mind, and I can tell by posture, body language, and expression that this was hard for even you. It pushed your technical limitations. This is one of the most musically complex pieces that exist, considered difficult even for its intended instrument. But you nailed it, hard. How are you not making millions with your craft? Youve got more talent than many of these composers did. Raw talent.

+steve cabrera I'm just not a fan of how Dr. Viossy plays the staccato notes and does the tremolo flutters. There's already a lot going on in the original song and I think adding all the extra flourishes detracts from the dynamic structure and texture of the composition. That's just my personal taste.

indeed its not always about speed but the presentation itself that makes the song shine.

+Hardyz209 This one beats it in my opinion. Though, the genre is quite different, I think. I'm not good at sorting genres and shit but there is a style difference and I like Erock's style better.

+Hardyz209 I do prefer Viossy's version. But this is still impressive !

+Hardyz209 Yea the good Dr certainly is very much up there with the best of them. Still like his rendition better. But mad props to Erock for this...mad skills too.

+ZuoLuoT I don't like Dr. Viossi's squeals. I just don't like squeals in general. They're flashy but I feel they don't add anything to the music.

Easily my favourite classical piece and one of my favourite pieces of music and you've done it amazing justice in my favourite genre. Thankyou my friend.

Brill man I just love the apogiaturas /acciscaturas (can never remember which is which) to START on the best, not END on the beat. The little piano bit you had near the end had then done this way. It's feels more edgy that way. Can really attack first note of it ON the beat

+Intergalactic Burger its bot's youtube needs to downvote things to add a proper contingency to their code base. If a video has ONLY upvotes. the Code used to scour videos and give them stat's based on like's - dislikes would encounter massssssssiivveee errors. on a video with like 350,000 likes and 1 dislike.

It reminds me The Smufs carton of the 80´s. I can see by the expression of your face at the end of the video how hard it was. Great work, bro!
