I just wanted to give you a tip about the troubles you always have with warm food. Ever tried to fill your sink with cold water and put you’re trey or bowl inside it. Most heat are from the bottom and from my own experience food cool down really fast this way. Hope you can try and it helps you

As for the cookies the soft lighter ones would probably of been cooked less,so not as hard and would soak up the milk quicker. Although you would have thought all cookies would be on a timer . Maybe the Cookie Monster sucked em alittle before packaging them😂
