#34 Greys In The Grey

Two visits to my squirrel feeder means eight more greys taken, two on a short friday afternoon visit and six more on a foggy Saturday morning. Once again the Daystate Airwolf with the Mako slugs does the business.

Thanks mate. Yes they do I think they a great idea, I set my guns up with the scope forward so the Pard is at the correct distance for using the cheek piece. It just means I have to use the Pard all the time but it’s no big deal

As a newbie to airguns that was very helpful. The way the squirrels will twitch at the last second shows that you have to wait and be patient. I'm not accurate enough to hunt yet but this is all good information as I try to learn more. ATB MMMD

I’ll admit I’ve gone through lots trying to find the ones that I can gel with and my Airwolf and Rapid seem to do it for me. Also been doing a lot of springer shooting at the range so watch this space….

​@Notts Pest Control Hello, my friend. In a perfect world, I would own just one air rifle. So, every time I shot, I used the same air rifle for obvious reasons. However, I love my air rifles and own each one for a very good reason. I'd never part with them as I wanted them from being a teenager and now I'm living the life I always wanted to. The workmanship, craftsmanship, accuracy, precision is off the scale to me. I love the bare bones of them. I adore them from picking them up to putting them down. It doesn't get any better for me. A fair few peoples chins drop at the mere mention of shooting, thinking we are trigger happy and see ourselves as Rambo. However, that's what narrow minded people/barm pots think and misunderstand so much. Best wishes, Ian.

what ftlb is the rifle seem to hit hard

It’s doing 11.4ftlbs with JSB RS which are lighter 13grn pellets. They fly flatter and faster than the usual JSB Jumbo 15.9grn
