This is the only pregnancy I’ve ever cared about on youtube. He’s a miracle baby!! My mom got pregnant with me at 30 after she was told she could never have kids and then I was born with the cord around my neck and not breathing (I was clinically dead). The doctors rushed me away and told my mom I wouldn’t make it through the night and if I did I’d be severely brain damaged from the lack of oxygen. I did and she finally held me three days later and now I just turned 20 and in college to go to med school!! Yay to all the miracle babies!!!

Hahaha YES!! mine were: 1. Hubby took me to breakfast, but by the time we got there, they were serving lunch. I cried to my waitress because *all I wanted was some damn pancakes* and she had ruined my life 2. I had to remove my wedding band because it was making my finger fall asleep, and I just knew I was the *worst wife ever* 3. My cat didn't like the brand of canned food I brought home, and I was a *failure* at being a cat parent. (pretty sure he was _actually_ avoiding me cause I was a crazy ass human at that point lol) The things we suffer for our kids 😁

My stepmother died in her 30s when I was a teen due to cancer.. though she wasn't a biological parent she was an incredible mother. Her and my dad tried for my sister for 7 years. I have been watching your pregnancy updates because they remind me of her and all the excitement she must've been feeling finally getting her dream. Maternity cloths rock after pregnancy. I promise you that. Things don’t “snap” back by any means. The first three months are a blur of happiness and exhaustion. You will want those comfortable cloths!

I didn’t have an immediate connection with my daughter for about 2 months. I felt so guilty but I found out it’s totally normal for some people not to have an instant connection. Please know that you might be extremely emotional and overwhelmed and there’s nothing wrong with you if you don’t have that connection. Also keep an eye out for PPD

They were popular in Germany in the last 15 years. Now, 2021 a new law prohibits 3D and 4D scans... I am sad, I had the opportunity with my first. Now it won't be possible for my 2nd, because the fetus is not big enough yet. I do not understand this... Seemingly an institution found out that these scans warm up the Baby and placenta while the Maschine is working/ ultra scanning. The temperature difference is like 0,08% but this is reason enough to stop that 😢😢😢

There is just nothing comfortable about having a baby or early breastfeeding AT FIRST. But hang in, and all of the discomfort will pass, and you won't even remember it! And though it was a shock for me - real time! - my childbirths weren't about ME. They were about my kids and how they wanted to come into the world - they were the stars of the show, and my job was almost to get out of the way! I saw some lady's obviously abusive boyfriend just yelling at her at the top of his lungs outside a store and her son who couldn't have been more than 3 years old and he was just quietly standing there holding his scooter and I started bawling once I got to the car. Everything in me wanted to just take him home, tell him everything is going to be okay and tell the mama she doesn't need that and she can overcome anything and just ugh. I'm new to your channel and I'm loving, loving, loving all of you lol. This video spoke to me so much! I'm a 48 year old not by choice single mom to man children that are 19 and almost 21. My husband, their dad passed away in 2007 from cancer and the boys were very young. In that my bond with my boys is soooo strong and your bond with your son is going to be so strong because of your experiences. I take great pride in my stretch marks and gray hair, I've earned them. My belly was huge. Everyone thought I was gonna have a whopper of a baby. She barely weighed 7lbs. No matter how much you prepare, you'll never be prepared. Just gotta go with it. You'll do great and be fine. Just soak in every small tiny thing. Those moments are important.

I went from 134 lbs to 210lbs with my sweet little boy. And he only weighed 6lbs even! I was all water, severely swollen and had gestational diabetes like our girl here. And still, my son was only 6lbs! Nothing is ever what you expect, that’s for sure!

I’m an OB/Gyn L&D RN. The pains you are feeling my be your large intestines. Since you are short, your intestines, gas, and food don’t have as much room as a taller person, especially where the bends in your intestines are. The large intestine goes up your right side, across the upper abdomen, and down your left side.

When I was super pregnant and couldn’t get much pee out when I felt like my bladder would explode, I’d pee in the shower. It was so much easier standing up😂 I understand how gross that sounds to some people but there is no shame when you’re pregnant. None.

Absolutely this!! ^^ I was so stressed about my daughter's arrival and making sure everything was perfect. We didn't use her (perfectly put-together) room more than a handful of times the first 6 months because she was in our room in the bassinet for a while, then the pack n play. As a breastfeeding mama I couldn't deal with all the middle of the night feedings without having her close by. All we REALLY needed those first few weeks were sleepers and onesies, a boppy/breastfeeding pillow, diapers (soooooo many diapers! Don't buy more than a pack or two of newborn size as most babies are only in that size for a super short time, if at all- my daughter was 9lb 8oz so she was in size 1 right off the bat lol! Get a lot of size 1s and 2s), diaper cream, wipes, and for me: nipple cream, breast pads and nursing bras, warm blankets, protein bars, shakes (and other easy, health-ish snacks I could stash around the house for quick access) and tons of water (breastfeeding will make you soooooo thirsty!). Try to focus more on making sure the house is clean (so much nicer to come home from the hospital to a clean house, clean sheets/bedding with all the laundry done), making sure you have at least a week's worth of groceries, and meals prepped that can be popped right into the oven or crockpot for easy, healthy meals. You will be so exhausted and obsessed with just staring at your your little guy that you won't want to think about regular stuff like that for a bit. Also, just a heads up, you are going to be wearing those maternity clothes for a lot longer than 6 more weeks (probably). Even if you drop a lot of the baby weight fast, you're going to be so reluctant to give up comfy amazing pregnancy clothes for stupid, tight regular clothes (with buttons and zippers, the horror! Lol). I STILL miss my maternity clothes (my kid's almost 4 haha). Anyway, that is my very long advice, good luck to you! I have enjoyed watching you grow so excited to become a mom, you are truly one of the most beautiful pregnant women ever and I can just tell you are already so in love with your son, it's adorable ❤️.

My biggest lesson in life was when I was 16 and got in a car wreck. I was flown to the top trauma center in the US. The top doctors in the US told me i would be in a wheelchair, wouldn't have kids,, would be in the hospital for at least 9 months. Well I walked out of the hospital in a week. 23 years later I still don't use a wheel chair and I have 4 beautiful daughters that my body carried. That taught me that I was not in control and that no other human was in control

It’s so interesting how we all experience different emotions and feelings of connection. With my first kiddo I didn’t feel that “omg you are the love of my life” right away. It was more an overwhelming sense of responsibility and protectiveness. With my second it was more instant but I think it was because I already knew I was capable of taking care of a tiny human. I’m so excited for you, I got to watch this with my 6 week old squish sleeping next to me. I can’t wait until you can snuggle your own baby!

I love how you express how real all the feelings are! I love watching your videos, so grounding. I suffered from anxiety and depression and i was determined to get better to conceive and I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant. I love this. Especially when you talked about how you'll be remembered and loved by people. I vividly remember being a child, snuggled up to my mom, and her talking about losing weight. I was *heartbroken*. I never saw my mother as fat, I only saw her as something that was soft and warm and comforting when I hugged her. The thought of losing that part of her was too much for my little 6-year-old brain. People never care as much as we think they do.

I literally had the same experience with my dad when i was around the same age; he was fairly big but when my mum said to him about losing weight I said I didn’t want him to bc I couldn’t cuddle up to his belly when i was tired or sad, i think he waited a few more years to lose it, kids are cute❤️
