34046 ‘Braunton’ heads to worcester! - The Cotswald Explorer’ - 15/11/23

Today was saphos steam ‘Cotswald Explorer’
With the diesel (class 47) taking the train as far as henwell loop where then SR West Country Class 34046 ‘Braunton’ would continue on taking the tour to worcester shrub hill.
The tour was to go up sapperton and the golden valley on the outward and return via the single track line at evesham & Pershore, After around 2.5 hours or so for the passengers to explore worcester.
I was originally planning to head out for a class 37 working locally but this was cancelled, so it was quickly decided I’d go to worcester for Braunton.
Starting off at a foot crossing just shy of norton jct 34046 had a red which caused it to stop… luckily I had my phone on back up which turned out ok.
For the second shot on the return I wanted something a little different, noticing a foot crossing just shy of Pershore it was decided I’d try it out, 34046 was giving it the beans going at speed.
Unfortunately my camera was being temperamental today not wanting to focus itself and making bizzare noises while zooming, for this I apologise.

Filmed the train as it passed through Moreton In Marsh around 4:30. Any idea why it was 45 minutes late at Worcester Shrub Hill? It was just cruising along as it passed through Moreton.

Is that for the return mate? Or outward, it Might of just been a problem when 34046 took on the train from Hanwell

@@LiamsLocos on the outward leg. I’ve been watching it on realtime trains and it’s keeping pretty good time. Due to hand over to diesel traction at West Drayton about 7:30.
