With the usual assortment of West Coast diesels must be something going on down south with engineering . Anyway after a few weeks of ajustments mainly due to poor manufacture iof s certain parts only 2 or so the trip[od is now starting to see how n much more stable it is compared to those velbon ones ive tried before its so much more noticeable its not picking up and movement through d c ground or bridge everything ive used before in some way picked up vibration I may still at some point change the head to a ball head type fitting but for now its fine so I can now concentrate on better batteries and more cards .

Seems to irritate a lot of people that does , I think it was because of a turning move for the steam loco , but there is a notice on UK Steam saying the Dorset Coast on Wednesday is cancelled due to fire risk and unavailable loco so it might have been a precaution for that as well .
