34053 "Sir Keith Park" becomes "303 Squadron" | Renaming Ceremony - Spa Valley Railway 01/09/2024

Thank you Matthew for uploading this ceremony. The decision to rename this loco, albeit temporarily, is a bold decision and should be applauded in order to commemorate those airman, this should have been done at the time so it's good to see it now.

303 squadron is a good name but what is gonna happen to sir Keith parks name plate ?

Stored until the loco is renamed back to SKP. The loco will run as 303 Squadron for a year in order to honour and commerate the Polish pilots of 303 Squadron, and then in 2025 it will return to it's normal name.
