34067 Tangmere on the Medway Valley Christmas Pullman! | Snodland Station 26/11/2022

Join me on a short trip to Snodland station (and Meopham as well) to see the first steam-hauled railtour on the Medway Valley Line since 2001!
Performing a circular trip to/from London Victoria, 34067 Tangmere leads the full Pullman rake around Kent marking the start of festive railtour season. Originally the tour was to be lead by 35028 Clan Line, however the iconic Merchant Navy has pulled out of upcoming events in need of extensive work. But who can complain about seeing a Spam Can in the south once again?
My only ask, let's not leave it another 20 years until the next steam-hauled tour comes through!

Nice catch there, Moleman - didn't know that steam on the Medway Valley Line was so rare. It's not often you see a steam train at all, except for heritage lines. I think yesterday (Nov 26th) was a perfect day because nothing else was around since the drivers were striking!

Steam isn’t my cup off tea however I have had the pleasure to go on some I love the springy seats extremely well padded unfortunately a lot of trains lack this because companies r going 4 seats with barely any padding the Stadler Flirts I’d say r the better modern units out there it was enjoyable to see they 47 at the pushing these coaches
