Also NVIDIA is more expensive without much of a difference this side of the 2020 decade. If you asked 5 or 10 years ago there's enough of a difference to matter, but in this day and age avoiding AMD is just a bias.

Blame the management for bad business practices such as the contract employees rotation and blame the executives who forcefully rushed it due them wanted to release with Xbox. There were so many content and story which were cut due to rush. It’s also the reason for the technical debt which prevented the game from receiving contents and caused lot of bugs.

I had a horrible time with SBMM last night. Literally every game I had to carry and still went 2 wins and 12 losses. My teammates were abysmal and I'm sure they were having just as little fun as me during those games. I out-damaged the rest of my team combined in 4v4 more often than not because of how badly the teams were composed.

It would be nice if you could see the actual population in the playlist you are searching. I know they show wait times, but that's not always accurate and you can't tell exactly how many players are in the lobby.

I agree, like Mint said about firefight I think they should def combine playlists of the same game type (i.e. Husky Raid) since we don’t have millions of players, now it’s almost TOO niche but overall a great update. For example, I’m a shameless Husky Raid junkie and noticed that the regular Husky playlist has very long search times after the update. Everyone seems to be selecting Super Husky only which is fun and cracked with OP weapons but it’s nice to have a mix of both regular & Super within the Husky playlist. Ppl didn’t specifically quit standard Husky mode prior to update so imo this should be combined w/ Super Husky since it’s still the same game mode and the playlist played well before the update. Also, simply having a “select/deselect all” option would greatly help to make desired selections quicker.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@adri.progression Totally agree, with some minor tweaks to help teams break the spawn traps (like simply reducing hammer/sword % and/or spawning with activated OS for 1-3 seconds). Maybe add plasma grenades too 😮. Husky is supposed to be chaos but that would go a long way. The combination of flag running (using equipment!) and random sandbox improvisation definitely has its place to show off skill. It’s what keeps us addicted and would be just as fun to watch!

I play mostly BTB CTF and everything has changed. All the flag locations have changed to be located closer to mid map. Vehicle spawns and drops have all changed. Regular CTF has basically turned into heavies on most maps. My team was not happy with that. Also, the MMR settings on BTB are really strict. When we squad up with a 12 stack, it is very very sweaty. I agree with your horizontal list for the composer. Give us assault! Thank you 343 for clearing the air on PvE affecting your MMR in PvP.

As for the slayer vs arena comment, I know me & my group of friends have been waiting for a (consistent) ranked slayer playlist since the game came out. Basically we'd come back to the game when ranked slayer was there & mostly drop it when it left. Having only 2 ranked playlists in the game, only 1 staple one & having that staple be arena was simply not it. This is big & long overdue, much like most of the updates for this game lol. Looking forward to getting back into it!

One thing that helped with MCCs version of Match Composer is that with it being a UI that let's you toggle to the side, rather than scrolling down, it means it's easier for players to find matches they want quickly. With having to scroll down the issue is players are usually they'll not bother to go all the way down the list and eventually just select something else more at the top. This was even true in OG halo reach where even though players wanted TU they ended up adding both vanilla and TU and TU had less players because TU playlists were at the bottom. When I get on, I don't want to scrool all the way down the list. I watch to press A a bunch of times and go. Those little things that delay do have an impact on players sometimes when they just want to get in the games they like quickly.

The match composer while still sloppy UI (Quickplay has 47 toggle options and no way to save presets) my matches have been faster to find, better ping, and every social match is not 1500-1700+ MMR matches anymore for me at 100+ ping. Been getting some real pubstomp lobbies again and love it.

I was expecting something different from the Match Composer, similar to MCC but being able to select certain modes based off of your party size and locking the lower party size modes the higher you go, but this is admittedly much better than what Halo Infinite had before.

Matchmaking is SO CLOSE to being perfect now. If it had these things it would practically be the perfect Halo matchmaking: Add BR Slayer, BR Objective modes, Escalation Slayer, Snipers/Shotty Snipers, Fiesta Slayer, Skockets to 2v2 and 8v8. Bandit Evo Start Slayer, Mini Slayer, Juggernaut, Ninjanaut and Tactical Slayer to FFA. Bandit Evo starts versions of modes for Quickplay. More variants and forge made maps (which could be separated by arena and community maps) into Infection. Ranked 6 Player FFA Slayer playlist (even just as a rotational) Dedicated playlists (rotating if necessary) for fun forge and dev-made modes such as: Grifball (Forge Falcons already made a great Grifball and Super Grifball which could be put into a match composer style playlist together) Last Spartan Standing (Hopefully this can now finally return to matchmaking, hopefully with some new variants and/or tweaks to the mode) Prop Hunt (a dev made prop hunt mode would be incredible for Infinite) Duck Hunt Castle Wars Rocket Race Classic Halo (use the Classic Halo League settings, maps and modes) Battle Royale (Temperance and/or Forge Falcons version would be great) Race Maps I would also separate Firefight into a different menu away from the PVP matchmaking to make things a little clearer and allow a place for PVE content (such as the recent Survive the Undead) to be featured properly.

Juggernaut is one of those gametypes tailored for the gravity hammer, and so far it looks great. The only time i legitimately feel like i'm earing kills with the hammer, and not everyone having access to it, unless THEY become juggernaut, it gets annoying dying to it and seeing it everywhere on super fiesta and husky raid, and i mainly play those two game modes.

Tried it with my dad who hates change. + can now deselect any game mode he doesnt like (anything but slayer or fiesta), and seems ro stick. - need a Deselect All, and a way to see when items get added tonthe 47 quickplay items. - no way to choose what map/maps to play, add the same to maps list. + matchmaking seems quicker and less SBMM

Regular juggernaut it is super difficult to become the juggernaut since it's just up to whoever is lucky enough to get the last hit in for the kill. And since everyone is attacking you and your shields don't rechange you won't stay juggernaut long even if you happen to get it. It gets a little better once you realize the good play is to hang back and let everyone else wear them down and swoop in for the final hits. Ninjanaut is more consistent since they have normal shields the person who actually finds them has a shot at becoming the ninja. And if you can be sneaky and stay stealthy you'll stay the ninja. I like ninjanaut if only because I have actually managed to get kills and even won games with it.

I’ve never ever had a problem finding matches. Maybe it’s just because I’m in the eastern time zone in the US and there’s a lot of players here. The two times I had a problem were the times I had problems with my internet connection. Never the game
