I stuck with the game for so long. I kept coming back for the cosmetics because "what if the game gets good and I miss out?". I deleted halo Infinite to make space for Fortnite and I haven't had this much fun in years. Halo isn't dead. It isn't even on life support. It's chained down because of the executives making poor decisions and it makes you think they're doing it on purpose. It would be so damn easy to make a quality halo game and the fans themselves are showing it. But a AAA game studio with billions of dollars can't cut it? Absolute bull. I played infinite and liked the campaign and I loved Hw2 but does that mean I’m not going stop pointing out everything wrong with these games. I crunched some numbers a few days ago based on HaloBoxStudios breaking down what you can get in The Exchange. You have the most base customization available to you of any Halo game and The Exchange continues to just give us more and more items. Ofc don’t listen to me telling basic facts though because number company has to be bad and Infinite has to be the worst Halo ever to keep the story going that’s been going for the past 14 years. Even further if you consider Halo 2 getting backlash for having the AUDACITY to not play as Master Chief the entire time.

I love halo played it since I was 11 and just for me the talk of customization is just played out everything was basic back then as well . We all played for the gameplay ! The story ended at halo 3 , stretching it out isn’t a good idea . Great stories need to end and it did with 3 .

Honestly, I feel like if they were to bring anything from Reach back, it should have been a (convenient) way to make loadouts. Even if limited to specific gamemodes, and I know I'm going to get some pushback from this because a lot of other older fans (I was around since the beginning, though I do disagree with a lot of my contemporaries on this) didn't like it as a feature, it should have been at least possible to do. Because like, you can always disable loadouts for specific gamemodes (e.g. Classic!Slayer, or Classic!CTF), but it's not like you're going to be able to just throw loadouts *into* a gamemode wholecloth, except on an honor system, which IMO drastically limits the number of gamemodes you can make.

Every Wednesday, my friends and I get on and play Halo infinite. The biggest issue we have is that there are no game modes for over four people. When the fifth person joins, we have to just go to squad battle or big team battle and it feels like those modes are severely lacking. Can’t play headhunter with five people. Can’t play attrition with five people Cant play oddball with 5 people. Lame…..

Aiming (on controller) feels like junk. I've said it before, and will continue to do so until people recognize it as a serious issue. The "content drought" doesn't matter, aiming is the most core mechanic of an fps and it feels BAD in infinite. Just port the modern aim setting from MCC and infinite will start retaining more players, it's that easy.
