35 CSS Float

In this section, we explored the CSS float property, which is primarily used to wrap text around elements like images. The float property can be set to left or right, allowing text to flow around an element on the opposite side. We also discussed the clear property, which prevents elements from wrapping around floated elements, ensuring proper layout.
An example exercise demonstrated how to float two blocks to the left and right while ensuring the footer remains below them using the clear property. Though the float property was historically used for complex layouts, modern web design favors more efficient tools like Flexbox and Grid for layout management. Float is now primarily used for wrapping text around images, as it can lead to unexpected results in complex layouts.
