Hi thank you so much for this video - you have a real gift for teaching and explain everything so clearly (i'm really enjoying my codecademy courses). I do have a question though, how do you make the website go live from here? And does each file under a folder represent a different section of the website i.e index.html is the home page, then you have 'about us' or 'our story', 'products' etc, and how do you link them together? And then if you are building a new website do you build them together?

After selecting an image that you want to use, right-click on the image and select the image address option then paste it. It's that simple.

There's one thing I don't understand: when you type HTML, why does the editor write so much tags all together? and why something similar happens when you type the img tag (where the editor brings the src and alt properties)? how do you configure that?

He is using Sublime Text editor . There are lots of shortcuts. for example, if you write html and press Tab key , it will give the basic structure of html.

Good afternoon! Virtual Studio Code also has a installable extension to assist you in viewing code right in VSC. It's called HTML Preview, and once you have the extension installed, you just need to Shift+Control+V.

You may have had this answered for you, but it is literally the command button plus the "/" button simultaneously. If you are on windows, it is CTRL+/

It took a couple tries with different photos but it worked. We may have chose photos with copyrights at first or key words/phrases in the url that won't allow you to copy them from one webpage to another. Keep trying you'll find one that works
