Actually it doesn’t work like that in LoL. Crits are actually programmed to not independent : let’s assume that you have 50% crit, and your first auto doesn’t crit, then your second auto will have a probability > 0.5 to crit. A Trynda OTP explained that during laning phase, if you auto minions 2-3 times without critting then you should go for a short trade auto+E and it will almost every time be a crit

Also, as for your other point, riot August has specifically said that the crit formula cannot be abused by hitting minions until you get a few non crits and then going in

If they told us Vlad was being buffed without shipping the buffs and his WR went up, that would be a placebo, but because these are nerfs it is a nocebo. I recently learned you can block Warwick R with Poppy W even though it is unstoppable. You have to time it exactly at the max distance of the jump when the sliding animation starts. I do not know if Warwick players usually Q at the end of this because that part is unstoppable. About the collector thing: yes thats true but you forgot to mention it only works if you deal damage with a passive or a pet, ability or with scorch after you die. in the video brand passive was active on cait. If this does not occur, collector doesnt do anything. On top of this this still doesn't worth at all since collector is not a good item on every champion in the game (like brand) and once you made changes related to gameplay event you cannot undo your purchase.
