I just bought a Mojave and ordered 35x12.5" and new Black Rhino wheels 17x8.5". I'm also having a AEV 2" lift installed that is supposed to be "made for" the Mojave to preserve the excellent suspension system. Any concerns I should have here ? Thanks in advance.

You should have zero issues with that setup. Just be sure to calibrate the computer for the larger tires. It would be worth buying a set of swaybar disconnects as well for more technical trail wheeling.

Hi Ali, I'm thinking about buying a Gladiator Mojave now since there are very good deals going on all over. I like to keep the factory wheels if possible. Her are my concerns: 1- If I upgrade the tires to 35"s how will my ride change without re gearing? Will it start hunting for the 7th and 8th gears? How about mpg? 2- I like to get a spacer/lift kit to level the truck? which do you recommend? 3- How much height do I actually gain compared to stock tires? I had a 4runner TRD PRO and upgraded the tire size to 285s and did a Wescott 2" spacer lift and it reduced my MPG by 2 on avg, and the truck kept shifting between 4 & 5th gear all the time especially in high wind and elevations. It got to a point that I just sold it.

You don’t need to do anything to run a 35 on a Mojave. Just make sure to get a light all-terrain tire and it won’t impact the Jeep greatly. If you want to give it a little more lift, you could always do a 1 inch font spacer and 3/4 inch rear spacer.

This videos great but how about the same question for the Willy’s gladiator?? Thanks for the info 🙏🏾

The Willys package doesn’t have the same highline flares like the Mojave and Rubicon. So, it will require a small lift to properly cycle a 35 inch tall tire Off Road.

Can someone help; I have black Rhino wheels running 37inch x 12.50 Cooper SST currently and would like to move down to a 35inch x 11.50 width tire, can I still use my black Rhino wheels? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
@Ali_Mansour_Editor5 ай бұрын
What size is the wheel? Ideally, you want an 11.50 on a wheel that's between 7.5 and 8.5 inches wide. You can put it on a 9-inch wide wheel, but it's going to appear very square, which won't hurt it. I would not recommend it if the wheel is 10 inches wide. This is all assuming you have a 17-inch wheel.

Can I run 35’s on the stock wheel in the Mojave? I’m thinking about staying with the Falken AT brand.

Yes

What about clearance for a 35x12.50-17 tire on a 17"×10" wheel with -18mm offset on the Mojave trim?
@Ali_Mansour_Editor7 ай бұрын
It would probably work fine. If you end up, disconnecting the sway bar off-road, I would imagine you might rub a little bit more on the inner portion of the front fender flare and potentially a small bit on the backside of the bumper. However, I don’t think it would be something that would damage anything.
@thevoiceofreason63397 ай бұрын
@@Ali_Mansour_Editor Thanks! BTW, the Mojave trim doesn't have front sway bar disconnect like the Rubicon. Mojave only has a rear locker.
@Ali_Mansour_Editor7 ай бұрын
Correct. I’m aware of that. What I was saying is if you put on swaybar disconnects, that’s when you might have an issue. I know that’s a popular upgrade.

Jeep newbie. I just acquired a pre-owned 2023 Overland. I think it's mostly stock. Do I need to mod it to accommodate 11.5 x 35's? Like do I need wider wheels? I think the stock wheel is 7.5". Not sure, though.
@Ali_Mansour_Editor3 ай бұрын
The stock wheel work fine with that size tire, but you will need around 2 inches of lift to properly clear that tire if you plan on taking it Off Road.

I’ve never felt that the rear is too light in the rain. If you do, then adding some weight will obviously help.

If I put 35s and a 2inch lift do I need to do any modifications?
@Ali_Mansour_Editor3 ай бұрын
Depends on what model Gladiator you have. A Tazer JL mini is would be the only other must have so you can calibrate the computer for the tire size.
@22jeepmojave759 ай бұрын
Is the taser mini voids the warranty?
@Ali_Mansour_Editor9 ай бұрын
No. Just unmarry the device before taking it to the dealership or you can tell the service writer beforehand. I’ve had my Jeeps in for warranty work and the Tazer has never been an issue.
