do you think that a 35's spare mounted like that on the bed will clear the kb voodoo full height bed rack that you used to ran?

I love the set up. I didn't think a 33 would fit in my Leer Cap (never bothered to measure it). Now I know that when I do finally make the leap I can get a spare at least mounted in the bed if it doesn't fit where the spare normally fits. Thanks Dude!
@davidholmes49764 жыл бұрын
No lift yet for me but have seen many comments and videos of 33's in factory location. Slight bend of a couple of centering brackets and it ends up close to exhaust which probably needs to be cut off anyway for offroading.
@IFeelfishy4 жыл бұрын
@@davidholmes4976 I appreciate the heads up! 99% of the off roaing I do is on the beaches of NJ, so I don't need 33s, but anything larger than stock looks better

Put it on top of the hood like a Land Rover. Lol. One day, when Im done adapting a roof rack on my 1st genner, Ill put the spare in the roof basket and put a secondary gas tank where the spare tire was. Simple is always better!

Do you think this would crack the composite of your truck bed? I seen some stories of peoples beds cracking on tacomaworld. This is something I wanna do but just wanna know your input!
@Tacomaholic4 жыл бұрын
Adding more weight is going to add more strain on the bed. I have the bed stiffeners which are supposed to help alot and I don't do anything high speed offroad where the weight is going to shift more.

What size lift are you running with on your truck? I’m looking to add a 2-3” lift to my 2014 trd off road. For more ground clearance when I go rock crawling. Thx!
