I would not have bought (new) my 2023 Tacoma SR Access Cab 4x4 if this product did not exist. The seats are laughably uncomfortable for probably anyone over 5'4" (I'm 6'4"). After installing them the seat became quite comfortable. Hard to believe 1.25 inches of increased seat height in the front can make such a difference but it does. Super easy to install too. If you are tall DO NOT install rear spacers, just go with the fronts so that you get a nice tilt from front to rear which the lack thereof in the stock configuration is the reason the seats are so uncomfortable to begin with.

What would you recommend about vibration when I apply the brakes. Usually happens when traveling over 65 to 70.
@Tacomaholic13 күн бұрын
If it's only happening when you apply the brakes it could be a warped rotor.

I just did a filter change and fill. When I put it in temp check the first time I was probably 1/4 qt short (not much coming out check plug) so I shut it off and filled it up more and then all was good. Do you think I did any damage while it was running in check mode a little low on transmission fluid? A little worried about it, but maybe it’s just ocd?
@Tacomaholic23 күн бұрын
Should be fine if it was just a short time
@marvin762125 күн бұрын
Transmission has any filter to be replaced?
@Tacomaholic25 күн бұрын
It does and you'd have to drop the pan for that.

I have a 2018 trd off rd tacoma. My front differential is leaking oil on the driver side, so we replaced the gasket on it hoping it would do the trick. But it didn’t. Also noticed some up and downward play on my input axle while it’s in the differential. Im wondering if I need to replaced the bushing to fix this issue.

Do you know of any after market switch panels that you can swap out the little bucket/bin (fuse access) on the far left under the switches? Thank you in advance. I can’t seem to find anything, I figured if anyone knew…. You would. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope. Hahaha

You absolutely can and should at later mileage, but that involves dropping the pan, resealing, etc.
@BrianNeedham-t7gАй бұрын
How do I prevent this from happening? Is there anything that can be done?
@TacomaholicАй бұрын
Longer drives. It's the short drives that cause it to build up.

Convention oil you have to change it out every 5000 miles, Synthetic oil every 10000 miles. The old saying is oil is cheap not today please don't be an idiot. Stop making some of these stupid videos you know there's stupid people out there God bless America🇺🇲

Best mod I’ve ever added to my Tacoma. The throttle lag (mine is 6m/t) was infuriating, transformed my vehicle and made it fun to drive again! Worth every dollar.

Did you have a problem with the mounting bracket that came with the S8 being too short to correctly position the light bar in the slotted space of the Brute force bumper? My mounting brackets are like an inch too short...may have to fabricate something in order to mount it properly

Interesting..... I've always purchased a box of chalk from Dollar Tree / Dollar General, etc., and put the chalk ON THE GROUND, so your tire drives over it and you see it precisely.

Great info, especially the subaru tweeter stuff mentioned in another video you made. I've been breathing new life into my dads 2014 tacoma, and speakers were next on the list. I didn't feel like running an amp so finding stuff that played nice with headunit ball park RMS wattage was a must. I put in a nice head unit and he loves it (JVC KW-M788BH). I'm sure the higher output will pair great with these speakers.

Thank you so much and hope you enjoy the process!
@WhiteySSIАй бұрын
Are you using the factory amplifier or did you get a stronger aftermarket to power the door speakers?

Hey, does anybody know how to change the colors or bulbs of the AC and circulation buttons? And no, I’m not talking about the two tiny bulbs that you rotate in that won’t light up if you put them in in reverse. Those are the climate control lights I am specifically talking about How the AC and the little recirculation button to the right of it on the same panel because it’s also climate control stuff so I don’t know if it’s possible or not, but I can’t find any information on how to do it and I took mine apart and then I saw Interesting looking bulbs that didn’t seem like they wanted to come out too easy

I did this mod on my 17 tacoma 2tr-fe with 98,000 miles, filter was visibly dirty but the material wasn't breaking down yet. Truck threw a p2441 a couple times which prompted me to investigate and learn about the SAIS and this little vulnerability. Thanks for the video.
