I had a friend who made fun of me for bringing my microfiber beachtowel when the cruiseline has towels. Until..... we were at CocoCay swimming and when we came out of the water we were looking at a "sea" of blue towels. That's when i spotted my towel and walked straight to our chairs. Just sharing... for the silicone bottle covers, I found a great, much less expensive hack... use balloons. You cut a little bit off the opening to stretch easier and voilá. They work nicely and wrap around different shape bottles. Go to $ 1 tree, get a bag, and the whooole family can have bottle covers for $1.25!

I use plastic sandwich bags from the dollar store. Take the top off the liquid and double strength the plastic bag over the top. Reattach the top and you have a very sturdy layer of protection. After that I put it in a plastic bag. Have never had a mishap.😊😊😊😊

Love most of your ideas - sometimes I look for more cost effective options like using Dollar Tree hardware clips for towel grips. They work just as well and are 2/$1.25 😊 I also found some of the vinyl summer theme make up pouches there that were perfect size for travel size toiletries for a week to 10 days…

click the 👍 even before watching the video I brought the magnetic hooks on the last cruise, they would not stick to the wall but they stuck together with my finger in between and pinched my finger (OUCH) glad I had my first aid kit. absolutely LOVE your cruise planner. I laminated the most used pages this way I can use the erasable markers on it.

Ouch! I ran into the similar issue with the magnets not sticking to the walls. But they did stick to the ceiling! Not nearly as convenient - needed my husband's help getting them down at the end of the cruise.

I have Bogg Bag's, but personally, if I don't have small kids with me, I don't take it. It is big, it is bulky, and it gets heavy. Typically I just take a backpack, as my carry-on, so I can use it for excursions, and a Beach Bag in my suitcase, for the ship. I do take the Bogg Bag for beach trips, BECAUSE it can carry EVERYTHING, but I downsize for cruising.

I love those water shoes. They take up no space and have a sneaker bottom on them. I use them for rocky New England beaches. And thank you for the magnet tip! It was key to surviving our first cruise with 2 kids!

I brought a microfiber towel on my kayak excursion in Næroyfjord and ended up helping out another guest who overestimated his skills and fell in the water. He stepped out dripping wet at our lunch stop🙈He could hang some clothes in the sun to dry a bit as the weather was sunny and made good use of my towel😁 The waterproof pouch for my phone came in very handy, I took some beautiful photos and videos while on the water.

I LOVE the beach sand mit. Yes, they work. I have also traveled with baby powder covered with a silicone sleeve. I double my beach chair clip for a hat clip. I also love the microfiber towels for a pre or post cruise beach day. I just bought mineral powdered face sunscreen, but haven’t used it yet.

I bought a travel body purse for my trips to Alaska and Iceland later this summer. I love❤ it. I love the towel bands- they are fabulous. I bought distinctive tuck tape and made a huge square on each side of my luggage. I have no trouble finding my luggage!

We went to Disney world about a year after I broke my ankle I needed to take a wheelchair. So I got duct tape that look like paint splatter and wrapped the whole wheelchair with it! Never lost my wheelchair the whole 2 weeks we were gone LOL! I could find it anywhere!

I just tried Mary Kay's After Sun Replenishing Gel on my hand yesterday! I had heard that it's INCREDIBLE for treating sunburn; the skin recovers quickly from the stinging and doesn't peel! Well, I haven't had a sunburn for over 35 years, but yesterday, as I grabbed my coffee after reheating it for ONE MINUTE in the microwave, the handle was SCALDING HOT and somehow I got it to the surface of my glass top stove without dropping it, thus breaking it or the stove surface, but spilling coffee everywhere! It wasn't until last evening, after having run my hand under cold water and gripping an ice filled cloth all day (with several fresh additions of ice), that I remembered my supply of the gel (I'm a semi-retired Mary Kay Distributor). I applied it about three separate times, took Aleve when I went to bed and when I woke up this morning, there was no pain, no swelling and no blisters! The stuff TRULY is incredible!!!

I am ordering the waterproof pouch with waist strap. One particular comment by several people was that the belt was too small. The ad shows the strap maximum as 42 inches, so I would suggest to measure before ordering. They have belt extenders in several sizes, which I will order along with the pouch. I actually have the travel hangers that you show but I also bought some very thin ones from Walmart that are plastic. I'm always confused as to why they always have wooden hangers on the cruise ships. You have to be careful not hanging anything on them damp or wet! I have also discovered that I can use the magnets in the shower stall to hang my bottles of shampoo and conditioner I bring. I also use a soap dish or sponge from the dollar store in the shower to put my shaver on so it doesn't fall through the wire rack. We just recently bought a microfiber towel to bring with us for our trip to Bermuda. So much nicer than lugging two thick towels around all day.

I travel with my blanket and 2 travel pillows and a bolster to put my feet on( bad back lol) I use a beach tote now but i am looking for something that will fold down better like the woven tote that will hold all my stuff for boarding. Question I thought about when you said about white powder in a ziplock bag. what to do. I carry foot powder as wear sneakers for walking a lot on excursions, and in the heat , sharing a small room don't want odour. Don't want to carry the big container, so how do you do that if not in a baggie?

I love my Bogg style bags. However when I took it on my last cruise, I found it heavy and troublesome for the excursions. PLUS, it has to be run through the scanner “SIDEWAYS” to fit, boarding the cruise on day 1 and coming back from Princess Cays. So of course everything wanted to fall out and run around the conveyer. I wont be taking it again in July.

Could you please find more sustainable products? It seems like every thing you buy is plastic. Many tourist leave behind all of this plastic. And it breaks down and causes micro plastics in the ocean. Many people😢 don’t realize living on islands we get stuck with things tourist use a few times then leave things behind.😢

A lot of the cruise lines have Apps that you can download to your mobile device that have chat features that you can use to communicate with your travel party, the Apps will also help you keep track of your itinerary & on-board activities. Hope this helps 😊
