As someone who is just getting started with Unreal Engine, I'm surprised that I actually knew a few of these. The rest mostly went way over my head, but I look forward to coming back to this video as my knowledge grows. I wish I could just instantly absorb everything Chris know about the software because it is very daunting 😅
@joshoa90210 Жыл бұрын
Same here. I’ve been just fooling around in the engine getting to know the UI and practice some simple stuff and there’s a good bit I recognized already but also like you said most of it is still beyond my comprehension. I never anticipated this engine to be so comprehensible for beginners like myself.

Seeing the Common UI stuff reminds me of the time I spent 6 months developing an editor plugin that added Widget Themes to UMG. You simply created a UThemeWidgetBlueprint and put one or more of each widget you wanted to style. Styled it in there then it was available on all relevant widgets as a dropdown option. You could apply full stylesheets to all widgets throughout the WidgetTree and with all widgets in a level. But it's redundant now due to the way I hacked the old DetailPanelCustomisation part. I learned a lot, but it was wasted development time for sure.

Yet another vid where there are constant focus switches between the presenter and content. Why the hell do people think this is necessary? I don't give a rat's a** about a presenter or his time wasting jokes, just give us the info in an efficient manner.
@davke6539 Жыл бұрын
It was pretty efficient for most of us, and some of us actually do like a joke now and then. If you don't like it u go ahead and spread your negativity somewhere else, we would not give a rat's a** as well for u not being here...
@imricor2250 Жыл бұрын
@@davke6539 Jokes are fine with me but not in this context. A rambling speaker going all over the place when the title says specifics. Typical YT generation and a major reason why accurate info is so fu**ing to come by nowadays.
