Just got my 10 inch box today. I glued the edges and added extra screws as needed. I might add poly fill. Need to find a sub to fit my system.

Debating getting the box and Walmart sub. Advice anyone what's decent but cheap ?

@@felixtrevino4626 well as a car audio tech, this is the worst idea for a sub box... but you get what you pay for.... i can build this exact same box from scratch and carpet in an hour.... you want a strong solid box with no air leaks for a sub to sound at its best... and wood glue is key and it's what holds pieces of wood together... this DIY box uses freakin double side tape and a few screws! so tacky, not well built, just a bad idea... and it will fall apart eventually

As a temporary box to get you started and to use while breaking in a speaker its great, but would definitely upgrade the box as soon as you can. Its nice if your coming from nothing and getting started for the price but if you can get a better box for a little more cash id do so.

What is the mounting depth for the box?

i would take a safe guess and say pretty close to 9” because the depth from far front to far back at the top is 9.30”

Didn't knew they had them, thanks , maybe get like 3 and just play around with different ports and subwoofer placement, of curse a smaller sub like an 8", just for fun

No its not man. It only has the speaker wire connection

Can’t that be bypassed by splicing in RCA pre outs to use instead of speaker wire
