This is your best setup. Massive numeric difference offset by terrain. A good military leader and strategist would try to set up the battle this way

Always enjoyable to watch the Generals in action. It's a shame they lost this battle, but with 99% casualties for the Elves, I wouldn't exactly call them winners.

You spoiled the ending!! Oh well... I would have preferred a different outcome, but the Romans fought hard to the last. There were a few mini blunders that tipped the balance in the end... if perhaps 20 soldiers had run a Diffherty direction when the Romans broke the line, if the troops stayed near the mountain, if the kill zone Tunney had made was kept going for a few more minutes...
