Why are cars slower in the UK compared to the U.S.? Do you have low octane fuel or something.

not as much coverage and this is one of if not the only full on purpose built drag strips so most builds here are for track racing not drag. We have loads of circuits so naturally that's what most people build for, you have drag strips everywhere so it's the over way around for you guys so you have way more development and culture surrounding drag cars whereas we have way more culture and development for track/hillclimb/rally cars

@@emmadeeba2038 all cars in general are slower. Speed records aren't that great there.
