FYI: International 5 Star Hotels have sub categories too. Luxury Brands: InterContinental, JW Marriott, The Ritz Carlton, W, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection. Premium/Upscale Brands: Sheraton, Le Meridien, Westin, Renaissance, Pan Pacific, etc. Since, InterContinental Dhaka is the only Internationally recognized Luxury Brand available in Bangladesh, their comment is absolutely correct. Please do some research if you don't agree. Thank me later.

@@SaadmanSalahuddin yeah no that's not how you categorise hotels. If anything, you should categorise them by their alliance affiliation. The IHG hotels in Dhaka are on par with the Mariott properties. There is no reason for there to be a distinction

@enoughahnaf1 Brother all the top chains have sub categories for 5 Stars within their brands. You can check Marriott, IHG, Accor, etc. Like in Marriott, Westin/Sheraton is a premium brand and JW Marriott is a Luxury brand even though both are 5 Star brands. Similarly in IHG, InterContinental is a Luxury Brand and Crowne Plaza is a Premium brand. I worked for Marriott and now work for IHG hence I say. You can google to verify it.

Thank God for this Uber Driver you met. A big problem in Bangladesh is people on the streets rarely speak English and they straight up give a lot of misinformation. This driver spoke perfect english and everything he said was correct too. At least you could have a fruitful conversation whilst being stuck in traffic.

there are quite a few places if you're looking for luxury. in dhaka there's pan pacific sonargaon hotel also known as the intercontinental, the radisson blue, dhaka regency, the renaissance etc. out of dhaka you can try the palace, grand sultan both are in sylhet and in chittagong you can try the radisson and the peninsula chittagong, in bandarban you can try sairu. it is at the most corner part of the country after that there's nothing out there except deep jungle

No my dear friend this is not the only luxury hotel in Dhaka brother . You can visit Radisson blue and dhaka regency as well .In sylhet you can get super luxury experiences in resorts such as palace and the grand sultan . In Coxs bazar we have a range of luxury hotels such as Saymen and many more . In Gazipur we have many resorts which will offer you 5 star services .

Well, Intercontinental is not the "only" luxury hotel in Bangladesh for sure. You can find some other hotels like Radison Blue, Pan pacific, La meridian or Westin quite easily. They are not so cheap as well. And you can also find some luxury hotels in tourist area like Cox's Bazar etc.

Yeah, but those other ones have too many restrictions, like women can't get in the water unless they're fully covered. Sometimes there are just too many people who can't mind their own business and starts gawking and disturbing people's peace! Like the lady at the swimming pool in this video just kept yelling at the back. He couldn't even film due to her being loud. Every hotel should function at an international standard in Bangladesh. What a person wear should be completely up to them. People should respect an individual regardless, not by dress code or religion. The entire nation and every hotel need to have the same mindset. Unfortunately, they don't. Also, the food standard matters when it comes to health and safety ratings. This hotel has more to offer than just good interior. It always offers fresh food and clean environment which offers a lot of privacy. It has a world class buffet and it's rich in history.

This is the oldest luxury hotel in Bangladesh, but this sure as hell isn’t the only one. There are tons of them spread out all across the country. Neither is 350$ the most expensive room. I’ve stayed in $800 rooms in Bangladesh.

Hey guys welcome to Bangladesh, hope you’re enjoying your stay. One thing I gotta say that, Hotel intercontinental is not the only luxurious one in Bangladesh or in Dhaka. This is the oldest and most historic one I must say. But there’s Sheraton, Le meridian. Radission blu, Pan pacific, Westin in Dhaka and outside dhaka there’s many more like The Sea Pearl and Hotel Momo inn etc. I believe the true beauty of Bangladesh lies outside of dhaka… Anyway I see you didn’t visit the northern part of dhaka yet, if you wish to visit Uttara, Diyabari, Birulia feel free to dm. Sylhet is good in the rainy season. You can visit other parts of Bangladesh like Sundarban, Cox Bazar, Saintmartin etc.

I recently learned about Christian Theology, Jesus is God. This conflicts with the belief that Jesus is a prophet. The Trinity consist of Father also known as Yahweh; Son that is Jesus and Holy Spirit. And Trinity makes sense as the world is three dimensional, three forms of matter and past present future tense. Do all these bring out the truth that God has three aspects and Jesus is God? If Jesus was prophet then why He and not any other prophet comes again?The Holy Trinity never includes Mary. Christian Trinity consist of God The Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit to be the same God and not different. Like ice, water and water vapour, all are distinct but same in essence. Jesus is fully from God the Father and God The Holy Spirit proceeds from the love between them. So you might be wondering why one God has three aspects. As per Christianity, God's three aspects are like mind, thought and action. Here the Mind is Father, His Thought is Jesus and the action that proceeds from Mind and Thought is the Holy Spirit. God has given examples about the functioning of Holy Trinity through the idea of family. Jesus came from the Father before creation. God did this so as to be with the humankind as Jesus at the same time while being in Heaven as Father and the cordination between the Father and Son is the Holy Spirit.

Thanks for visiting the city! Try to go with a local who speaks English so they can show you around and explain as you go. I would love to show you around but I’m out of country right now. Also, this is one of many luxury hotels in Dhaka, not the only one. Dhaka has a bunch of 5 star hotels, including this one, Intercontinental. Online sources are not that accurate for traveling in the Indian Subcontinent, very subjective. Glad that you’re enjoying your stay. Hope you guys get to see more! Cheers

Have you check out the shopping malls in Dhaka, also Not only Dhaka, there are also other attractive places in Bangladesh, like Cox's Bazar, one of the longest sea beach in the world. Saint Martin's Island, a coral Island. Chittagong, the second largest city famous for ship breaking yard, World war 2 cemetery, Mezbani beef, Cornofuli river ( with tunnel and bridge), Shadhinata complex amusement park etc. Cumilla, houses the ancient buddhist monestary in Moynamoti and famous for the Rashmalai sweet deserts . Sylhet, the city of lakes, waterfalls,canals, hills and tea gardens, Rajshahi the cleanest city and the silk city in Bangladesh, Bogra and Naogaon where you will find out ancient archeological sites, and Sundarban, the biggest mangrove forrest in the world, etc. I advice you to visit these places too, if you have time and opportunity.

Why only Gulshan? About 70% of the area of Dhaka district is very developed. Banani, Uttara, Banshri, Dhanmondi and many other areas are developed like Gunshan area of Dhaka. The biggest thing is that almost all the cities in the 64 districts of Bangladesh are now very developed. I request you 2 Apart from Dhaka district, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban, Khagrachari, Comilla, Rajshahi, Narayanganj, Sylhet etc. districts to visit. it is the only luxurious hotel controlled by the govt. but there are a lot more inside and outside dhaka.It is in the top 3 but not the most luxurious hotel here in bd.🤜🤛

Another enjoyable video! What food would you say I should avoid as a foreigner in Bangladesh. I've been there before 13 years ago but I got very sick for 2 weeks straight 😢 Ruined my time there to be honest.

Hey! Thanks for watching. Our rule for street food is to limit things that have been laying around a while, go to the busiest places and least oily! In general, we always find restaurants that are historic or have the best reviews

Those who are saying there are other hotels in Bangladesh doesn't know much about the rules and regulations in other hotels. Other hotels have too many restrictions, like women can't get in the pool unless they're fully covered. Every hotel should function at an international standard. What a person wear should be completely up to them. People should respect an individual regardless. Every hotel needs to have the same mindset. Unfortunately, not all of them function the same. This hotel has more to offer than just good interior. It has a world class buffet full of varieties, and it's rich in history. Hence, don't listen to Bengalis. When Bengalis visit Bangladesh, they mostly just stay at their relative's place or their own place. They don't know what they're talking about. Bengalis just go to occasional wedding or dinner parties in hotels, but they never stay unless they're travelling, which is very rare. The way food is presented at this hotel looks like a 5-star hotel in Malaysia that I stayed in. In other hotels in Bangladesh, they don't have the same presentation or variety. Their presentation is too "Bengali". Their menu is very limited. This hotel was $200 not too long ago, I guess they've raised the price. Regardless, price shouldn't matter when it comes to basic requirements, such as letting women swim in basic swimwear.

Intercontional is a great hotel, but is definitely not the only luxury hotel in Dhaka. There are many other 5 star options like Renaissance, Le Meredian, Westin, Sheraton, Pan Pacific to name a few. Even in Chittagong, Radisson Blu hotel is actually nicer than Intercontinental in my opinion..

Oldest not only ❤ there’s couple more 5 star hotels in the city like Pan pacific,Dhaka Regency,The westin,Radisson blu,Le meridien,Renaissance Dhaka 😊
