Und hat es fahrtechnisch merklich was verändert? 🙂
@MIMCKMedia5 жыл бұрын

The best before/after under car footage of the diff brace! Thanks for this man. I have one on the way and am super stoked.

Thx bro. Z1 subframe bushings coming soon stay tuned. I already got them laying around. You can see that the diff still got a lot of bounce because whole subframe is moving

This is a good video. I'm going to be rebuilding my dif over the winter. Seeing this brace in action makes me more excited to get this done!

Thx for your feedback. Do you put an lsd or final drive in as well?
@jasongotshadowbanned5 жыл бұрын
Right now I'm thinking final drive, but I got a few months to work on it, so lsd may get do as well. I should probably do both at once, save the hassle.

Great camera work as always. Question, is there something that can go wrong from making the entire assembly too stiff? For instance more sheer force on the axle joints to the differential or something?
@MIMCKMedia5 жыл бұрын
thx bro. You reduce the dynamic force on the axles because there is less shifting load (axles remain concentric). The drive shaft has a balance over the universal joint. The torsional stress on the drive shaft may possibly be minimally increased, because the differential does not yield when the torque is increased. But on the engine side, it's just like that ... The only downside is that vibrations and thus noise are forwarded to the chassis and interior.
@drewmorg.5 жыл бұрын
@@MIMCKMedia Ahh so the vibrations becomes a thing! Thanks. I will research more.

@@MIMCKMedia so it’s ok to go all solid differential bushings ? Even if subframe bushings, toe arms etc. aren’t on the rear ??or is that a bad idea?
@MSMgamer1902 жыл бұрын
Do you have the factory differential bushing or Z1 or other???
@MIMCKMedia2 жыл бұрын
Z1 bushing in the front. I also got the z1 bushing for the subframe but haven't change it now

@@MIMCKMedia do a before and after when you install those bushing? I’m curious if the daily drivability. I have and 2nd gen fx35 and installed a z1 rear diff bushing. And it’s a blast to drive!
