350Z Gets HR Hood Swap (07/08) / Ep. 2

My 2004 350z, finally got an HR front bumper, fenders, and hood! Along with HR OEM headlights. I also put on a set of 19" wheels and tires to round off the look. Let me know what you guys think about it.

I have a 2005 350z 35th anniversary and I’m about to swap from my DE rev up to the HR do I need a new hood or will the stock one still fit ?

That is a great question, I do believe the HR sits higher which is why the bottlenose indentation is on the HR hood. But do not quote me on that.

You can still run a DE Hood but you’d have to have the strut Bar and the engine cover off

@@MK6Guy Hey man, I also gave a 2005 350z anniversary addition as well. I’m having problems with excessive oil consumption so I’m also considering this swap. Have you gotten around to swapping a hr into your car yet? If so, was it a relatively simple swap that you would say is worth the money or was it not worth the headache?

@@lukeesham2562 I am not having oil issues on my DE. I am not planning an HR powertrain swap. I am planning either an RB or 2JZ swap at some point down the road
