350Z ISR Y-PIPE AND SINGLE GT EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALL AND REVIEW

Due to an annoying exhaust leak and a strong desire to feel young again I bought my first exhaust system in years for my 350Z fun car! The Z is older and has high miles so I did not want to spend a whole lot. Enter the ISR y-pipe and single gt exhaust system. Video shows parts of the install and has lots of sound clips.

i cant believe how quiet that single 3 inch is. even with stock cats the ISR does sound clean though. The G37s version of the ISR comes without the resonator

@@daaafoo8857 buy the high flow cats, the power difference is like maybe 3 hp and even less once you get it tuned. i promise if you daily it you’ll want the cats more than the resonated test pipes. i loved my sound under acceleration but too much drone if you’re going a steady speed anywhere above like 45 mph. our cars aren’t fast n/a and dont do what I did doing all the n/a mods trying to juice every last drop out of it. if you want a fast Z it needs boost no matter what

So far no rubbing, wrattling, or leaking issues. Been almost a year now. Couldn't recommend this exhaust any higher if your looking for value! 🙂👍👍

ISR for budget, Tomei if money is no object, Z1 if you hate ISR but dont want to spend the money on a Tomei. I have 0 complaints with the ISR other then it is pretty mellow on stock cats but that is not necessarily a bad thing! 🙂

I haven't noticed the exhaust rattling but I think my cats do. Pry going to do some high flow ones and see if that takes care of it.

High flow cats did not take care of my rattle so maybe exhaust but I think my rattle is coming from inside the transmission.

Not much drone in stock cats. It’s a nice oem+ option if your looking for good looks and nice tone. I added high flow cats down the rod and that added some drone.
