350z Window Motor Reset

How to reset/recalibrate the window motor for a 350z.

Yeah, crazy little trick, has something to do with the winding mechanism inside...fyi for me it didn't last long! Started back up and would intermittently work ok and then back to being problematic so I ended up just replacing the motor. 40 bucks on Amazon!

Welcome! It didn't solve my problem for long though. Couple of months later had to replace the motor. Could replace it if you'd like since they are cheap so that you only take apart the door once. Motor: amzn.to/3POiF2m

Mine does the opposite! it goes up when i leave the window open and close the door. Ughhhhhhh

how do i remove the silver part of the passenger window to unscrew??

It just clips onto there, just have to unclip it. The location of the clips is the very top and very bottom. Just be careful not to snap 🙂 unclip one at a time

Mine is an 03 and doesn't have a button there.

Hmm that's interesting. Just replace the motor if it's not working properly then. 40 bucks on Amazon
